Curtis Davies and Tom Huddlestone were both on £30k plus.

We went from £15m anual wage bill in 2013/14 to £40m+ anual wage bill by 2017/18.

Gary Rowett’s squad was at the peak.

He signed ageing players on long deals and massive wages in a one-shot at promotion. We missed out and then he bolted.

Yeah, he was on massive wages. Perhaps Eranio too? Baiano was on a fair wedge. Savage was at the time when there was money being thrown around.

Believed at the time Eranio was on a million a year and had larger pay offers from Milan to stay and from Bayern Munich and someone else.  Surprised he didn't get a bigger premier league side making an offer when it became apparent he was set on playing in it. Baiano about half that. About 19k and 10k a week respectivly.

Regardless of that, perhaps it's reasonable to assume that England's (well...2nd) and Man Utd's all time goal scorer was prob the highest paid on reflection!

Technically, it was a £35.25m wage bill in 17/18, with £5.2m social security (£40.45m total). This total was a £5.9m increase on 16/17, with a £2.4m increase on the season before. The biggest increase unsurprisingly was £9.6m in 15/16.

Although it'll never be public, the wage bill in 18/19 will have remained at a similar level.

We know for a fact that Bogle was on £9k a week so could pencil these down to purely guess work based loosely on companies house data for the club and trying to make up the numbers. I’d imagine Rooney would’ve been on close to £100k a week, obviously subsidised by the additional sponsorship money we received.
