Hasn't been able to get starting place in a side that has struggled for goals so hardly suggests that Warne is a huge admirer. He didnt look bothered last few games when i would have expected more to get in starting

It's a squad game and we need 2 wingers without letting anyone else leave. Can't see us moving him on.

Outgoings by minutes played (all comp.): 1. Roberts - 3184 2. Dobbin - 2548 3. Davies - 1395 4. Stearman - 939 5. Osula - 710 6. Chester - 562 7. White - 537 8. Springett - 218 9. Cybulski - 97 10. Dean (hick) Saunders
Hourihane was in L1 team of the year. I know he is not totally consistent, but seems unlikely that we won’t be building around him and bird with possible addition of an athletic beast to complement them. Caerphilly Ram, Rammy03 and Ram1988 2
Sparkle
One goal keeper needed two centre half’s needed one right back needed one left back needed two wide players needed two centre forwards needed that about covers what we need - hopefully McGoldrick covers one of the centre forward spots - every other spot will be guessing but yes I would take Roberts and Dobbin again if allowed but Brighton may want to extend him for themselves or move him to the championship whilst Dobbin might be in the championship after the fire sale at a relegated Everton. Dean (hick) Saunders
Can’t see Roberts being prem quality. Biggest threat is if a champ team wants him..

Why does everyone worry so much about championship clubs? The massive gulf in money is between the prem and the championship. There is not the same level of difference between league 1 and the championship APART for those championship clubs with parachute payments. Even those often are saddled with very large debts and players on massive wages they can't get rid of so may not have that much money to throw around either. The rest of the championship clubs competing with Derby are doing so on the basis of their income. Most of them are no more than half our size, some even less than that. So we can more than compete, which was shown most clearly with the signing of Hourihane who would surely have been wanted by championship clubs. The only thing really against us is when players prefer to play in the Championship. But otherwise we can compete now that we have had the shackles taken off Rammy03 and Carnero
Van der MoodHoover
These days, doesn't "compete" equate to "fund maximum losses allowed under ffp"? So our constraint could easily be how much of his personal lolly David Clowes is prepared to sink - until such time as further investors can be found. He's only worth a third as much as Mel Morris was int he?
