VulcanRam Posted January 3, 2023 Share Posted January 3, 2023 13Wildsmith 7 another cold and quiet afternoon 12Smith 7 noticeably getting forward a lot more in the last couple of games, and set up Hourihane's goal with an excellent run 3Forsyth 7 solid and steady 6Cashin 7 same as the Foz 17Sibley 7 another impressive outing, though hardly tested Roberts 6 did what he was sent on to do 4Hourihane 7.5 much better, seemed to get around the pitch a lot more as we had an extra man in midfield 8Bird ? 7 patrolled the midfield comfortably 18Dobbin 7 good threat, fortunate assist Osula 4 missed and sitter and stupidly got himself a red card 38Knight 9 All action, at the heart of everything, helped free up those around him which in turn caused havoc in the Accies defence, outstanding performance. 7Barkhuizen 8 two goals and a constant threat Mendez-Laing 7 a good out ball, carried the threat once all the changes were made and with Osula off 10McGoldrick 7.5 as always, the most composed player on the pitch Thompson 6.5 added good energy and worked hard Steargoat - 6.5 won a great header with his first (and possibly only) touch. Roberts 6 4Hourihane 7.5 Best game under Warne I think. Seemed to play further forward which helped Bird. 8Bird ? 7 Strolled through the game, unfussy and precise. 18Dobbin 7.5 Lively again, assist for Barks first Osula 4 Daft to retaliate, but was clearly being held and defender made a meal of the merest flick of the boot. 38Knight 8.5 Outstanding, an assist and denied a nailed-on penalty, Accy players must be having nightmares where JK won't leave them alone. 7Barkhuizen 8 Lively throughout and in the right place to score two easy chances. Mendez-Laing 7 Good cameo, looked a bit sharper than v Cambs 10McGoldrick 8 A pleasure to watch him at work again. Good penalty and was involved in first two goals with crucial actions.
