Pearl Ram
Not being a guitar player, I’m probably wrong but I always thought Neil Young’s Harvest Moon was inspired by/nicked from The Everly’s Walk Right Back, one of my all time favourite songs. One of the more positive things about getting old is I find myself giving time to music I just dismissed when younger. The Everly Brothers fall into that category for me. Would love to know what the argument with Phil was about, read today it happened on stage but it didn’t elaborate. RIP.
Mucker1884
One of only two songs I've ever been brave enough to step up to the karaoke mic for... Wake up Little Susie. Absolutely no point to my post, other than to give thanks, and show my respects, to a music legend. RIP, sir. xxx AndyinLiverpool

Cisse
Everly Brothers have been so underrated for decades. Perhaps the younger generation will find them now as it often is when a great artist dies. RIP Don Everly.
Brammie Steve
Don and Phil were masters of the close harmony. They were clearly perfectionists in their field. They broke out of the Country and Western mould to appeal to lovers of music from middle of the road to rock and roll. Like Buddy Holly they had a strong influence on sixties music. (Simon and Garfunkel in particular.) With the onset of YouTube and compilation CDs A new generation can learn to appreciate this talented duo. RIP Don, now reunited with brother Phil wk died seven years ago! angieram
