From the BBC website.

Twitter says it does not currently see evidence that the UK government has tried to manipulate coronavirus conversations using fake accounts.

It comes after claims began circulating on social media implying the Department of Health and Social Care was behind a network of Twitter accounts pretending to be NHS staff.

These accounts, which were allegedly posting in support of the government, appear to have been deleted.

The Department of Health tweeted that the claims were “categorically false”.

Twitter adds that it “will remove any pockets of smaller coordinated attempts to distort or inorganically influence the conversation”.

The BBC also currently has no evidence to support the suggestion these allegedly fake accounts had anything to do with the UK government.

The accusation is she complained about no PPE despite giving it away. No explanation of whether the PPE she allegedly gave was from the NHS.

What did she give? Where did she get it? Who owned it? Why was it given away? Did the NHS give her sufficient PPE for herself?

The only source I can see for any of the accusation is the biased order-order website. Where's the backup to explain the detail above? Nowhere, that's where. I've asked a few times for some backup details but all I've been given so far is Guido Fawkes, a biased source.

I don't think you're understanding what I'm saying. You are allowed to be a labour activist. You are allowed to be a Tory activist. You're even allowed to be a UKIP activist, although I'd prefer to stay away from the weird racist people. What I need is some detail about accusations when they're made, not just some spurious story on a biased website.

I thought you had already admitted to being a Labour supporter?

I know you've got your tongue in cheek, but it's not really a joking matter to start claiming people are extremist for having views that are not centrist.

Yet it's ok to call people racists on the same basis...

Hopefully the full detail will be released so we can judge for ourselves, but I was disappointed that the offer was made to DHSC who declined to look at it. If it's fake, we should be told. Shouldn't be too hard as the accusation is that real NHS staff were used, so they can validate whether or not they were spoofed. Who did the spoofing is another matter, but it was done by someone who had the intention to discredit concerns being raised by members of the NHS.

Look what this left wing activist has been claiming now!

"UK ministers took a political decision not to be involved in an EU ventilator scheme, Sir Simon McDonald, the Foreign Office permanent under-secretary said today, so challenging previous claims that the UK did not take part due to missed emails.

McDonald was asked by a Labour MP, Chris Bryant, at the foreign affairs select committee whether the ventilator scheme was put to ministers. He said:

'It was a political decision. The UK mission (UKREP) briefed ministers about what was available, what was on offer and the decision is known.'

His remarks appear to blow a hole in the case originally made most prominently by the Cabinet Office minister Michael Gove."

"We've heard enough from experts".

Says it all, really.

Its a couple of years old now, but personally I still think the data rings true.  Others might disagree...

In short, the Republicans are more or less as conservative as they have ever been, its the Democrats that have shifted.  I'd argue the similar applies to the UK as well.

If you think that there is a 'vast divide because the Republicans have moved to the right, and accuse the Democrats of being socialists' its more likely that you have shifted further to the left.

Interesting data there.

But wherever the centre really is in US politics and whatever party is shifting position if the following chart is correct then the rest of the world better hope that the Republican Party doesn't win any Presidential Election for the foreseeable future.  Obviously this is a few years old and long before anyone heard of Covid-19, but the fact remains the current Republican Party is a truly bizarre and dangerous political entity.

Emphasis needs to be on the original poster to show the evidence now, or it's out of the water.

That's why we need details. Otherwise it's impossible to challenge.
