Anyone else think it's really low from the Sky reporter? He was told many times to drop it, and he kept trying to force the issue. The United bias in the media is strong.

just trying to make a name for themselves...but to be fair, it isn't every day that the biggest club in the world are looking for a manager and everyone knows he is going to take it.

I'm not convinced that he's going to take it, why would he? Man Utd is on a downward spiral.

Because it is the biggest football management job in the world....and they will quadruple his wages....and he is a winner and he will never win anything with Spurs....and they will give him more money to spend on a single player than he ever has had before in total....

The Sky guy was embarassing. They think because they pay the big bucks then what they want they get but just for once they didn't. Small consolation but well done Spurs.

Madrid and Barca are both bigger, why would he win anything with United? This Spurs squad is miles better than the United one, with a new stadium coming and Champions League football. Man Utd isn't the draw they used to be. The only feasible reason is money, United will take years to recover from the state they're in.

And add to that if he gets it right he could be there for years , unlike Real Madrid.

Thing was I’ve seen another clip, where he was point blank told his days back, the press conference was for Spurs next game and as said the reporter was glory hunting.

Imagine if it was someone persistently asking us about Lamps going somewhere, I’d expect Gibbo to do just the same.

Spurs have no money, with this Poch will no doubt feel this is as far as he can take them. Levy should pick up the phone to United and ask them straight, do you want him, if so cash in on the compensation and move on.

Spurs may have a better team than United now, but they have the money and to challenge for the title.

Uncertainty is never a great thing for a club, no point dragging this out for the rest of the season.

Press officer quite rightly shut the reporter down, but this won’t go away, especially if United struggle under Solskjær which wouldn’t be a surprise.

Man Utd have more money but it doesn’t make them a better option. They’ve gone backwards off the pitch.

Neither Madrid or Barca are as big as United, not even close. Spurs have no money to spend, they do have what looks like a lovely stadium though. United have unlimited funds.

He has taken Spurs as far as they can go, they won’t ever win the league or the champions league, United could be back in the hunt to do both those things really quickly.

Manchester United — €676.3 million (£581.2 million or $827.9 million).

Real Madrid — €674.6 million (£579.7 million or £825.9 million). ...

FC Barcelona — €648.3 million (£557.1 million or $793.2 million).

Pretty close, if you ask me, and this is taken this year.

At least fact check before you make incorrect statements.

United have gone backwards but firstly Moyes then to a lesser extent van Gaal were on a hiding to nothing trying to follow in Fergusons' footsteps. I'm really enjoying the United turmoil and hope it lasts for much longer but if ever there was a time to manage United then it's now.

Depends on how you determine big.

United way behind on this count.

Happy to say they are the biggest, but not by miles as was implied.

Total fans (not just those who use social media)

Man Utd - 650m

Barcelona - 450m

Real Madrid - 350m

Those figures are estimated, and you are presenting them as fact.  The fans on social media are measurable, the figures you quote, from a start up company that states it helps football fans travel the world, and need as much exposure as possible, hence the article, are complete guess work.  Hence fake.

You measure by fixed tangible elements, such as money, attendance, social media exposure, not by estimation and guess work.

Like I said before ManU are the biggest, but not by a huge amount.  Give it 12/24 months they could well be 2nd or 3rd.

How about this one then. Make that 659m for Man Utd, "twice the supporters of other global soccer brands like Barcelona, Real Madrid and Chelsea"
