Ah, that's different - these are people just paying for sins from a previous life (and before anyone jumps on me for being serious - this is a sideways swipe at the comments Glenn Hoddle made when he was England manager. I am not being serious!). Isn't it all a bit less fun when you have to explain everything for 'fear' of being lambasted by the righty police.

Misuse of the word "Literally".  Two main categories of misuse for the word:

 

First

When someone doesn't understand what it means:

"I was literally dying for a wee!" 

"Hang on, I'll be literally a second longer"  

 

Second

When it's used unnecessarily:

"It was literally amazing"

"I'll set up the meeting for next week.  I've literally put it in the calendar"

Dont start on literally :), all kicked off already in the football forum on one of the threads about it being used incorrectly.
