I recall he left the club after a supposed fall-out with Shackell (I'll say no more about that) and the whole thing ended very messily with his parents signing up and responding to messages on (I think) the DET message boards defending his decision to move on. Ambitious Posted February 21, 2018 Share Posted February 21, 2018 I'd like to also reiterate everyone else in this thread - I really liked Davies when he was here. Technical, strong & a good finisher when given the chance. Too many injuries and being moved about in the team really stopped him. He looks two stone heavier now, obviously not focused as hard as he should have done. I guess it's hard when you're constantly picking up injures.
