My Mum & Dad used to have a really old record of a bloke described as 'Mr Sam Collins, Banjo.' It had to be played at a peculiar speed, can't remember whether it was 80 or 90 rpm. Probably picked it up in the 1020's or so. Wished I'd kept it now. I did a bit of digging and found this. If you scroll down a bit there's a couple of tracks you can play.
