I'm assuming you think Tuesday night never happened?

Ipswich  were poor apart from that we seem to be under pressure in large part of games  first time under McLaren nobody could get the ball of us.

It's almost as if the current team isn't as good as the team under McClaren previously.....

3 defeats in 5 I think the stat was quoted earlier, need to change that on this run of home games we got coming up

3 away defeats against top 8 (ish) teams. We're not quite at the level where we can tough those sorts of games out and achieve draws.

We should be confident in the next few matches but the 3 defeats paint a pretty consistent picture of where we're at.

We seem to be very open.

The four defenders and carson especially have played well recently and without them we could have conceded more, but we don't defend well as a team imo.

the midfield drop deep and tend to stand off whilst the two 'wingers' high up the pitch can leave us very stretched.

there is a hell of a lot of space available to play through us.

At times the forwards surely need to drop back to help crowd the midfield, and the midfield need to get tighter.

We are too polite. Take a few chunks out of the opposition please gentlemen.

Norwich, leeds and newcastle were always going to be tough, but three defeats and no goals scored is not great. These are the rival teams we need to take points off.

10 points from the 7 league games since xmas

we will need to improve on that if we are to get the 6th spot.

Two 0-1s v leeds and newcastle maybe even slightly flatter us. Desperate Dan's heroics in goal gave us a chance to snatch a point that we didn't really deserve, but ultimately we weren't good enough to be able to do that.

At the moment we don't quite know our best side, and that probably is the best indicator that we are still in a transitional phase.

Come on you Raaams!

We have just gone to one of the best sides in the division, it was a one sided game until 65 mins in and we were lucky not to be  5 down by HT and some need a reality check, we are a good championship side and nothing more.

We should turn into a very good championship side next season with a few in and outs that Mac thinks will move us on.

Play offs is a possibility but I don't want us to be lucky and win them as we are a million miles from being ready for the prem, don't need are run of 2008.
