Jayweb95
Anybody have any news on when the kits will be out? Know it's early but seen a few championship clubs revealing theirs so wondering if anybody knows anything about our release date? Hope it's not ridiculously late like last season. Kernow
Ours is always very late, there's been no talk that I know of but I don't really check the OS for news and it usually breaks on here before hand. Wonder if they'll do a city centre catwalk reveal like a few years back tragic Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/18997-1516-kit/#findComment-812938 Share on other sites
The-Slough-Ram
Here's to hoping they don't make the Justeat logo stand out so much like last season's, embarrassment wearing it anywhere which isn't derby at the moment Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/18997-1516-kit/#findComment-813024 Share on other sites

TopRam
Anyone else think Derby miss a trick by not bringing the kits out early? If I was in charge I'd get them out now for people to buy for their summer holidays, people might acctually wear a top with JUST EAT on abroad. Least most people in another country wouldn't know. Just always made me think they could make a few extra quid bringing them out early Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/18997-1516-kit/#findComment-813200 Share on other sites

Just always made me think they could make a few extra quid bringing them out early they're always out mid to late July - just in time for the school holidays and prime summer holiday season. I think most people that would buy one will buy one regardless of when released - doubt the summer holiday thing would intice a few more Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/18997-1516-kit/#findComment-813807 Share on other sites

TobyWanKenobi
Don't get why some people dislike the sponsor. They pay the club money to have their logo on it. That's a good thing. Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/18997-1516-kit/#findComment-813812 Share on other sites
Shaftesbury Street
Yep, wait for Everton's kit release turn it black and white and then slap "Just Eat" on the front.I'd love a purple kit like this http://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/images/localworld/ugc-images/276250/Article/images/22936027/6905640-large.jpg Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/18997-1516-kit/#findComment-813815 Share on other sites

davenportram
I think his point is that people would be going on their holidays showing off the new shirt and are walking advertising boards.yeah and my point is that the majority of people will probably be going away after the kit is released at its normal time so releasing it earlier wouldn't significantly increase that (or sales) Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/18997-1516-kit/#findComment-813847 Share on other sites
cosmic
Something away from the McClaren speculation. Everton have released their Umbro kit. Looks very similar to ours last season - but with ADDED ALMOST V-NECK! #omg Loads of images here: http://www.evertonfc.com/unhoused/bornefc Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/18997-1516-kit/#findComment-815386 Share on other sites
Tombo
I quite like the sort of v-neck inside detail, of a different colour. Make the collar and neck and upper chest area black and the rest white.Basically what I'm saying is, take Norwich's home kit and turn it black and white. Google it. Kernow
If our kit is a model of that then it's nothing special. Quite boring. Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/18997-1516-kit/#findComment-815402 Share on other sites
May Contain Nuts
A little detailing does improve it, but it's still pretty boring. Here are some other boring Umbro kits (the sort that we'll probably end up with) An Umbro kit with some nice detailing in the fabric - having the club crest 'in' the shirt is something I wish we'd do - and a horizontal stripe (not a fan of them in general but looks good here) and a Puma shirt that I think would look good if we had them instead Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/18997-1516-kit/#findComment-815404 Share on other sites
Gypsy Ram
I got a feeling it will be a boring kit. Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/18997-1516-kit/#findComment-815405 Share on other sites
May Contain Nuts
I actually REALLY like that Gamba Osaka shirt, even with the horizontal line.Make that 'in Derby' with a bit of gold detailing and we've got a winner Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/18997-1516-kit/#findComment-815410 Share on other sites
ramsbottom
I'd love to see a b&w version of the (i think) late 70's/early 80's shirt we had with the Umbro diamonds running virtically up each sleeve. I'm sure someone on the dole can fish out a pic while i pay their benefits... Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/18997-1516-kit/#findComment-815411 Share on other sites
Tombo
I actually REALLY like that Gamba Osaka shirt, even with the horizontal line.I really hate horizontal lines but I can take them on away kits and third kits. Home kit, no way. Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/18997-1516-kit/#findComment-815413 Share on other sites
