Not a secret phil, but for some reason it won't let me quote your question.

The book is a true story of a scruffy young kid from a tough family background in Sunderland who's life is changed forever when he meets Brian Clough.

I could go on but that's pretty much the nuts and bolts of it.

Not anymore I'm not ;-)

I'm 42 now and have a finely developed fashion sense and a smart hair cut :-)

Thats confused me.

you were born in 1973 which was went brian was leaving derby?

yonks after he left sunderland? So how, what......?

Hard to help without understanding a bit more.

I hope it wasn't you that drove him to drink.

I was born in 72.

They used to play in the North East fairly regularly which is how I met.

I try not to remember his drinking and focus on all of the brilliant lovely things. I certainly don't write about it.

I also hope it wasn't me who drove him to drink.

Best wishes, Ronnie.

It's said that everyone has a book inside them - you just need to find a way to let it out. I'll be glad to purchase a copy, being a Cloughaholic.

isn't there a film called The Life of Brian? Monty Python...

Perhaps a subtle play on that title???

Strife of Brian?  Nah probably not

If it was about Barbara perhaps, Wife of Brian, but it's still not good really

i voted for the first option, am a sucker for a catchy title
