eddie
Betvictor beginning to waver with Sunderland possibly coming in for Clement. Odds shortening on Gary Rowett. In other news, be careful what you wish for...The odds merely reflect the money bet.
TrueLou
Aren't the odds just tumbling cos Advocaat has just left? Seems logical to me, but doesn't necessarily mean owt. Just a reaction to the news.

Kernow
A read of the Sunderland forum suggests that the odds coupled with the fact that apparently Clement and their Sporting Director BFFLs makes them pretty certain he's a Black Cat.Someone argued that the reason he hasn't signed for us yet is because he's holding out for what Sunderland did with Advocaat. Advocaat walked. If that's the case it would be a big risk for Clement personally, more so than us. Going in as a second choice compared to apparently our first choice. If he gets off to a bad start it can be awfully hard to pick up again in that league. Would be all or nothing if he ended up there.
CumbrianRam
With Clement we'd be getting more of what we had with McClaren. Once a vacancy at a bigger club became open, we'd get speculation, faithless fan tittle-tattle criticising the manager for a lack of loyalty (with no sense of irony) etc etc. do we want that again?Either that or get a NC type manager and accept a lifetime of Champ midttable football, if fans are insecue. Let them be,
Carl Sagan
Jokanovic is apparently on his way out at Watford now and 16/1 on our list. Another cat among the pigeons... I would take Klopp

eddie
Clement down to 3's for the Sunderland job. 1/10 for our jobThat just means that someone has bet £5 on him taking over at Sunderland and £1.35 on Gary Rowett taking over at Derby.

-JW-
Clement is pretty weak on the betfair exchanges, trading at 1.47 which is just a bit less than 1/2.

Zak10
Lord_Ram - some of us will be accused of wanting nice-to-watch, passing football rather than winning-at-all-costs! I'd prefer both!

wiseram
The odds on Betfair are largely irrelevant - only about £4k traded - mainly on Clement, watch for more activity before the market is closed. For example £25k traded on Wham manager and similarly Real Madrid manager - even that is low.So as soon as there is a significant move witnh wise money - largely irrelevant.
