paintingstandsatderby
It's on news now but think it's probably just speculation. Hopefully there's something in it. More suited to our style than bent imo
Ambitious
I wrote something on it... http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2015/03/03/sp-could-steve-mcclaren-use-friendship-with-liverpool-boss-to-so/? so, it's probably come from that.It would all depend on Liverpool, I would guess. I've got no doubts we would pay whatever it takes to sign him for a short period of time - given the situation - and It would even include a recall clause, too... Saying that, I'd have expected it to be done by now if something was possible. I just don't see what the problem could be.
Ambitious
According to reports he is on 40k-a-week. Same as Best and Nugent..

paintingstandsatderby
I'd imagine it's the fact he's on the bench still. If he wasn't it'd probably have been done. Is it a midday deadline for anyone to be signed in time for tonight?

Ambitious
Could be that Liverpool want their player to play for them?
VulcanRam
Well, yeah, hence the sub-title... He's played roughly 30 minutes of Premier League football in 2015, though, and Liverpool accepted a bid from Villa. So, I don't think it's a major issue. They have a young lad called Jerome Sinclair, too, that's making waves and could be given a chance over him.

Guest
Why stop and lambert, we could get balloleti as a double loan, surely Steve just needs to pick up the phone.he recently turned down a move to villa to fight for his place, why then come to a championship club?If b4 had suggested this he would be ridiculed for months.
