Tombo
I have this horrible feeling that we don't intend to replace him at all. I don't know why, but I get that feeling. If we replace him, then definitely, I'm happy with that. But as it stands we've weakened the squad in a key area for reasons I don't yet understand. Tombo
Obviously, nobody cares about Freeman. Can't argue that he wasn't that good.
cannable
Why do people think coutts is a centre mid when most of his career he has played wide? He's said in his interview with Radio Sheffield that he's spent the majority of his career in centre midfield...
Duracell
Chris Martin will be disappointed. He had him down as one of our best players, surprisingly. Or he was one of his beat mates DJ Martin & MC Coutts in da house!
i-Ram
He's said in his interview with Radio Sheffield that he's spent the majority of his career in centre midfield... Not sure Cannabie that counts for much. There are many on here who believe they would score 17 or 18 in 2 minutes on Mastermind If their specialist subject was Paul Coutts. Coutts himself would not score as many, because he has never been prolific, and has always been a bit laboured in his delivery.

Animal is a Ram
Bloody hell.... Coutts on a free.... To a league 1 side..... !,,! He is a very good player and I can only guess Mac must have another midfielder lined up straightaway Coutts was undisclosed.. Freeman was free. RamNut
Preston fans were glad to see the back of him when he joined us. He has no pace, no creativity and no end product. Ben Davies was better. Blocks
-JW-
Blocks Prove otherwise then. He did nothing significant and if it wasn't for Brayford making him look better he would have got a lot more stick.
RamNut
He played wide last round and was awful. Far too slow to play winger. Can't take a man on to save his life. Brayford made him look good. Cobblers. He was one of the better players v southport.

TobyWanKenobi
Just saw Brayford mentioned in this thread.... http://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/sheff-utd/sheffield-united-brayford-receives-the-green-light-to-hold-talks-1-7067827 Looks like Nigel is getting the band back together. I suppose Champinship mid-table is a good thing for Sheffield United to aim for as things stand.

G STAR RAM
Coutts reminds me of Dawkins a bit, not really suited to the right wing position but was good at retaining possession. Would like to have seen him given a go in the centre to see if he could cut it. Good luck to him.
RicME85
I assume Steve has a few transfers up his sleeve to be letting Coutts go. Might not set the world alight be can do a job retaining possession.
Inverurie Ram
I think your all missing the little point that Nige is recruiting a few Derby fringe players that are going to beat us the next time we play Sheff Utd and Paul Coutts that doesn't! score that many is bound to bag the winner and Sam Rush is going to dissolve inside whatever big coat he is wearing.......and then again as Public Image Limted sing a song about....."I might be wrong I might be right....I might be black I might be white......etc.......Anger is an energy....anger is an energy........ Mafiabob
Regarding fee... Funny how Freeman was "free" since we would have owed Forest a few pounds shillings and pence... Wonder how much they paid for Coutts? Slightly above market value perhaps to cover Freeman so no cash for red dogs?
