Now have 3 central midfielders with little defensive duty. Be interesting to see how well Mascerell plays.

From 2 wingers to none. Who does Mac think he is Alf Ramsey?

Strong bench to change things round if we need. It'll certainly be interesting. The Mac era has been built around wingers, constantly perming 2 from 4 and normally playing all 4 in a game. Will suddenly having none, nullify our attacking intent?

If we're going to experiment, this is the game.

Rewind nearly 20 years to the arrival of Stimac and 3-5-2.....as Mottie said once, "interesting, very interesting"

Wasn't motty it was Barry Davies, having an orgasm. Just look at his face.

I'm assuming Albentosa will sit behind Keogh and Buxton and provide a level of calmness, direction and extra defensive cover that will address us not having Thorne or Eustace. Will also let Omar and Hughes to play their more creative game and allow Hendrick to run on.

Martin will still be the pivot.

I think I am feeling a little bit like Barry Davies did all those years ago.

Let's hope the boys are able to play within this structure which, on face value, feels right.
