Fawaz's van

Well if he didn't act like an idiot on social media -

Are you suggesting it is acceptable to vandalise anyone's property that winds people up on social media? I assume you would have had no qualms if John Vicars car was smashed up then?

I'm not validating or supporting what was done, but Fawaz was asking for trouble parking a van with FORST as the number plate in the car park where thousands of derby fans will walk past, I walked past it and heard loads of people saying whoever's van it was was asking for trouble

What about people wearing Forest shirts, were they game for a bashing too?

There is no justification for the vandalism of Fawaz's property, entering the field of play to assault a Forest player or waiting around after the game in order to ambush Forest fans.

We seem to have more than our fair share of pond life if Saturday is typical of what is going to happen when things don't go our way.

I think we already knew that from some of the posts we get on here!

Forest have their own share of pondlife too. Trapping people with kids in their cars in SS carpark, rocking them, swearing and spitting - and not a steward or policeman near. Thought they all had to be escorted or kept seperate?

I don't think posing in front of a 'We Hate Derby' Forest flag was the most professional thing he has done tbh.  Sometimes you reap what you sow I'm afraid.

Agreed. This works both ways though - John Vicars was wrong to take the pish out of Ipswich the other week on Twitter.

All in all as a club we need to show a bit more class and dignity, win or lose.

Simple rule of thumb - how would we have reacted if it had been one our players assaulted, or vehicle vandalised?

I'd hazard a guess that we'd be calling them all names under the sun and demanding 'justice'.

I'm all for banter with the dogs, or anyone else for that matter, but Saturday crossed the line, on multiple counts. People disagreeing, and rationalising the awful behaviours displayed by some of our 'fans' need to have a word with themselves.

Well it pays to use common sense sometimes.

A bit like the dozen or so forest fans who sat in SW lower. Ok, so they weren't wearing colours - but what did that matter? Everybody knew who they were when they scored. Ppl shouting at the stewards to move them, they didn't. Then they scored again and it all kicked off again. Think the stewards moved them then for their own safety.

My question is why would anyone with any common sense want to sit slap bang in the middle of Derby fans when everyone knows that tensions run high?

What would a rams fan expect to happen if they sat in the middle of their fans at their place and jumped up cheering when they scored?

Like I said, common sense appeared to be sadly lacking. I know it's a corporate area but that doesn't hold water with me, it's just not sensible to do it.

Not saying anyone should be abused for what team they support, but it happens, this is exactly why we have segregation. I'm all for reducing risks, not making yourself a target.

Bang on.

How anyone can rationalize what happened is beyond me.

He parked his van with forest number plates in the derby car park?.....so fookin what!, it's a game of football for crying out loud.

It's only the select few of knuckle dragging ****** that think damaging a guys motor is hard.

As you said some people need to have a word with themselves and ******* grow up.

I am ashamed and angry at the events from sat, but is that just my mindset?. I am of the ilk now that "we lost", so what, lets have a bit of banter with the gumps and move on to the next game.

At the end of the day we still have to get up for work on a Mon, the world does not revolve or end with DCFC!.

Get a fookin grip.

Not justifying the idiot who ran on the pitch or the people who bat up Fawaz's van, but jesus christ the Forest fans are idiots too

They just won the game away from home in the last minute, so why were they throwing coins at us as we left the stands? Shouldn't they have been happy not wanting to fight us?

Should we report that they were throwing coins at us?

Im not condoning anything - I just think we all have to act a bit smarter - I hope the idiot who ran on the pitch gets the full force of the law and Derby County on him - same goes for the person who vandalises - anything.

It's a shame we have to watch what we say but we do, it's a shame there are some people out there who can't take a joke or a bit of banter and take it one step further,  unfortunately, there are lots of them about.

I have to say Pearce came across very well on Saturday, a refreshing change from the Davies' of this world.

Yes, you should GreenRam. I'm sure the club would want ppl to come forward and report it. Plus, all fans will have been recorded by the police aswell but pinpointing seats is easier with witnesses I'd say.

There was a Forest fan in the lower tier of the Pirelli corner. When he was celebrating the goal, while everyone was trying to kick his head in, instead of ejecting him he got a 4 man steward bodyguard team while he continued to watch the game stood in the aisle. How ridiculous is that? Pathetic from the club.

Yes.

The club will examine CCTV footage. I was hit in the eye by a coin at Blackburn - it was reported (one of their stewards saw me holding my eye/checking for blood) and they examined their recordings. As it was there was no footage showing the incident but I was told that they would have banned/prosecuted the person concerned if they had been able to obtain evidence.
