Guest
Georgi kinkladze or taribo West for me, osman and thorne played at a lower level although a class player
Bris Vegas
The best player was Taribo West for me. The player who was the best for us in terms of effectiveness was Leon Osman. I can't remember whether Marco Reich initially joined us on loan or whether he was a straight up free transfer in the January transfer window but he was also very good for us initially. Chris Mills
In terms of what he will become, I imagine Jordan Ibe will go on to be a big player for a top PL club.
Gypsy Ram
Loan as only at loan then it's osman. Over all contribution after signing on then it has Martin

Guest
Pity savage had not been on loan ....and returned after one month when clear he was pants. Can't believe we paid and played him for 3 years Best loan player ? Osman. Remember his debut vs shef utd on freezing cold night. He stood out a mile and really helped huddle stone step up also. Gary Teale
For value Danny mills. I thought osman was great in a poor side and it's no suprise he has had such a great career. Thorne is a good player but the loan itself didn't have a huge impact on us as we were already flying. If tariboo west was on loan he has to have been the best player. He was a different level. WoollyJumper
I thought Tomkins was pretty good here. It's Michael Boulding though. The forum went into meltdown when he signed. Was he Ginger's younger or older brother?

Ambitious
Loan XI (purely based on their loan spell): Frank Fielding Andre Wisdom - James Tomkins - Andrew Davies - Alan Wright George Thorne - Leon Osman Jamie Wad - DJ Campbell - Arturo Lupoli Shefki Kuqi Fielding was outstanding during his loan spell, as was Ward. Andrew Davies was wreckless, but okay. Tomkins edges the error-prone Ayala, for me. Alan Wright was incredible. Experience personified. George Thorne and Leon Osman are comfortably our best loanees. DJ Campbell added a threat, when we really needed one. Arturo Lupoli scored goals, added an edge. Shefki Kuqi should have been terrible, but he just fitted the system perfectly. Bueno misses out, unfortunately.

maydrakin
I always though Matthias Svensson was a cracking loan signing. Not the best, but certainly deserving a mention. I think West or Osman have been the best/most effective (both saved us from relegation virtually singlehandedly)
