niram
We are not Man City!!! I dont see the point in having two first teamers for every single position. I rate Whitbread and hes been involved in promotions with norwich and play off campaigns with fester. We dont need any more DMs, and if Christie has a short term injury then Keogh has played there before. Macca seems to be turning into Harry Redknap Buying squad players for the sake of it! lol
Uptherams
No one is questioning his quality. The only person I would want an incoming defender to replace is Keogh. Aside from that I would want backup. Not someone who might upset the balance we have. He is too good to sit on a Championship teams bench.

Have we not considered that Keoghs future isn't secure? He has a contract on the table he is yet to sign and a decent player is now available for a low price considering Stoke want rid? It certainly beats losing a player and having to rush around looking for a replacement...also it may send a message to keogh that he should sign the deal otherwise be replaced in the team? It might be none of the above but someone who cut it for a couple of seasons at prem level cannot possibly be deemed as a bad signing and Mac is certainly no Redknapp.
DEL
Erm this does sound like Freeman going somewhere permanent does anyone thinks the same then? GK-Grant/Roos RB Christie/Shotton CB Bucko/Keogh/Whitbread/Shotton LB Fozzy/L.Naylor DM-Eustace/Mascarell/Hughes(if needed) CM Bryson/Hendrick/Hughes/Coutts? Wing- Russell/Ward/Dawkins/Ibe if signs?/Coutts? ST-Martin/Best This shows we have all position covers but Best can't play against Blackburn next month meaning Calero to be involved that game surely? The squad look strong this year imo.
DEL
Not sure where Coutts fits in hence why I put ? at the end though.
Warwick Ram
Surely if he can play DM then he plays the holding midfield role, which solves that problem until Thorne is fit. He is younger than Eustace and will be able to play week in week out to save Eustace's legs and he will give the back four that added protection. It then means that Hughes, Bryson, Hendrick and Mascarell can push forward and win games for us.
3232
Great signing if it happens. All we need now is a winger (Ibe) and it has been an impressive transfer window
North_Stand_Ram
Hahaha I think he's already look like numpty NSR seeing Shotton coming meaning defenders sorted right? Exactly. Why would we need more?

Gritty
Don't understand why people think he can play cb or defensive midfield. He has only ever played rb or right midfield that I can see?
AmericanRam
Very good news if he does sign.Clearly not wanted at Stoke and he will have a chip on his shoulder to prove himself.Very solid backup all around.
