Thierry Ennui
Look at Rush, that's a look that says "I've got this all under control." The kind of guy you want on your side.
Tombo
Love how in that picture, Bryson looks fairly pleased, but Mac and Sam look absolutely delirious! They look like they're off to throw a celebration party in honour of the good news. Wouldn't blame 'em to be fair

TigerTedd
Booo. Clearly he's crap and we don't want him (if you believe the Craig Bryson transfer thread). Funny how we got ourselves in such a tizzy overt hat. Seriously though, well chuffed with this. the most important signings we've made so far have been our own players, and when we've already got some of the best players in the Championship, that's probably the way it should be. Just need GT now to retain the best midfield int he Championship. Although, having said that, we've still got Eustace, and we had the best midfield int he Champ along time before GT started playing for us. So CB in GT out. Boooo to GT. Tombo
Also has to be said, I think he definitely wanted to stay here, but he wanted to make sure the deal was right and used the Burnley offer as a bargaining chip to get better wages. Maybe he did consider the Burnley offer for a while, but if he can earn similar wages here, then he's better off staying where he's settled. It was a case of making sure he was going to get similar wages and a big juicy contract. But again, wouldn't blame him if that was the case. That's football. TomBustler1884
There's no way we can criticise the board or management of this club anymore, surely? 5 key first teamers signed up in a week, Thorne to sign next week (according to Mackworth Ram), this is turning into one of the best summers we've seen in many a year. The whole club is pulling together in the right direction, the fans are behind the club, the team are a great bunch of lads and Wembley feels like a distant memory. Regardless of what happens next season, the club need to keep this positivity going, and we need to show how much we appreciate it, good job we've got a South Stand to do just that from. BRING ON AUGUST 9TH.

ossieram
Great news. The new song for Bryson. Craig Bryson's got 5 more years, Now he's smiling ear to ear, Burnley is a big **** hole, He would have been better off on the dole.
Uptherams
Absolutely brilliant news. He will be almost 33 when his contract runs out. Possibly be retiring with us. When was the last time we signed someone on a 5 year deal?
Hans
I suspect this may be more important than securing George Thorne's services, of course once we sign Thorne he will be our marquee signing for players coming in.
inter politics
When we thought he might be leaving, I said at least we won't have that headache of deciding which two to play in the middle (if we play the same system) but I'd rather have that headache. Our fast tempo and flowing passing game is typified by this Scottish running machine - love watching him play, delighted he is staying. Let's forget all the hype and play some football. DerbyPride
It's very interesting that the three midfielders who are playing for same two spots in the team have all signed new deals. They've all signed knowing that their place in the starting lineup is not guaranteed and that speaks volumes for the revolution that seems to be happening at the club. Smalley Ram
On the back of this and all the other contract deals recently agreed I just want to say "Thanks" to Big Sam (and everyone else involved) for making sure we keep our best talent. Man this makes me feel soooo good.

But then again those two spots will have 100 odd appearances between them in the Championship. That's 33.3' starts each.
