Posted June 19, 201411 yr Nixon says we've bid £1m for the striker. At Boro but enjoyed a good spell at Bolton on loan
June 19, 201411 yr I can't see the tweet with it in, I thought you was joking? "http://i.gyazo.com/a5b337203c1b8e6a170ab9664df5098d" alt="a5b337203c1b8e6a170ab9664df5098d">
June 19, 201411 yr 11 goals in 20 games at Bolton, not that bad. I reckon he'll be decent back up to Martin.
June 19, 201411 yr 1 in 3.4 since Motherwell. Sammon's record for Wigan and Derby is 1 in 10.5 (ish) That is a far better record. We simply just need to swap out Sammon. He is not good enough.
June 19, 201411 yr Author When you see Bolton fans reaction to us bidding for him, he clearly was a success there
June 19, 201411 yr Always seemed to do well against us (and score) for Coventry and 'Boro.. I think he'd be useful in all honesty.
June 19, 201411 yr Got loaned out to a struggling Bolton team because mid table Middlesbrough thought Danny Graham was better
June 19, 201411 yr Ah, I guess it makes sense. Bolton fans really rate him. He's technically a very good footballer, but just carries a poor record in front of goal. He has always caused us problems, annoyingly enough. It's not the signing that's going to make me rush out and lump on promotion, but it's neither one that bothers me too much.
June 19, 201411 yr Although £1m for 1 year left on his contract??? Clearly they want back the £1.3m they paid for him. Let's do a swap with Sammon and move on...

June 19, 201411 yr £500,000 + Sammon + Packet of pork scratchings = Done deal. Scampi fries.. Surely?
