AndyinLiverpool
Having consulted Hawkeye I can confirm it is a goal."http://s28.postimg.org/u8pmzwffx/Picture1" alt="Picture1">"http://s29.postimg.org/pmijhwdtz/Untitled4" alt="Untitled4">"http://s10.postimg.org/ray8g3yux/Untitled3" alt="Untitled3"> Crystal is opaque in comparison. uttoxram75
This is when you want that behind the goal camera angle thing. Or a linesman who keeps up with play and flags when the ball crosses the line.

Ambitious
I don't want to be a negative nelly, but the birdseye view picture shows it's actually not a goal... there is no daylight between the ball and the line - hence, no goal. And it does actually look like a goal in the reply - surprising.

Brammie Steve
That Barnsley player was so far into the net that he should have been booked for playing the ball off the field of play. His foot was well over the goal line and made contact with the ball. GOAL....end of! Only it wasn't given. Get over it, we won anyway.
May Contain Nuts
Nonsense. Those pictures prove absolutely sod all. The fact that the player / ball is 3ft in the air completely alters your perception and takes away any relevant perspective.

uttoxram75
When you see it in real time ont telly its obviously over the line. Happened very quickly during the match and the officials missed it, no excuse really but it happens all the time. Watch it on BBC Football league show on the iPlayer.... 14.50 minutes in....... http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0424ggw/The_Football_League_Show_2013_2014_21_04_2014/

Curtains
Columbus was one of the only people that did think it was round at the timeVery true. It's amazing though that explorers looked for the end of the world and discovered many things but we can't even now in the Football League prove if a Football is over the goal line. That linesman was really poor with that decision imagine if it was the playoff final. It was a goal.
eddie
Columbus was one of the only people that did think it was round at the time Rubbish. Virtually all educated people in the 15th century knew that the Earth was a sphere. Don't believe everything that asshat Washington Irving wrote 350 years later. In fact, don't believe ANYTHING that Washington Irving wrote.
