Brammie Steve
Just heard on WM. Eusebio has died aged 71 RIP amigo. Star of the side we beat in arguably our most memorable match against Benfica in 1973. He played for them for over 20 years. Legend in every sense of the word. AndyinLiverpool
Oh dear. What sticks in my mind is the footage of him congratulating Alex Stepney on saving one of his shots in the European cup final. A sad loss.

eddie
Wonderful player. I'll never forget his contribution to the 1966 World Cup, and of course his place in the Benfica lineup that wonderful evening at a hosepipe-drenched Baseball Ground. RIP.
