Zak's hattrick was away at Cardiff at the start of the 67/68 season; Sir Brian and Peter arrived in the close season, about June 67, I think

TimRam
Brilliant win, cracking atmosphere and a top day all round. Could you ask for more on an away day? When was the last time we won our first 3 away league games? 101 years ago , according to RD.. Probably the most amazing football stat that is Rams related! YoungUttoxRam
101 years ago , according to RD..brilliant! 13/14 years of going 90% of our games and this is the only season ( still early into it I know) that we've gone away and played so positively. Youuuuuu raaaaaaaaaaams.
Uptherams
As I have said before Mason knows where the goal is and is a very good and clinical finisher. It is a shame that it takes an injury for him to be included among the subs. He is just as promising as Hughes and I hope Nigel doesn't tame him by making him worry about defending and playing in a way that is not his style. Just put the young lad in front of goal and he will do the rest.
Eatonram
Yeovil............................Burnley..............................Milwall And so the pendulum swings. If we keep calm, accept the downs as well as the ups, I'm reasonably confident (injuries allowing) that a better season is within our grasp. Really important to get the first home win to settle those jitters but we have three tough games ahead though. But I bet Forest will be far more nervous about plying us than vice versa. The pressure is all on them considering that last few years at the dump.
Asanovic
Funny game. Thought they started better and we didn't do too much until the first goal. Once it came though we suffocated the game and it was as good as over at one nil. It was a brilliant away performance. Bryson will get the headlines but Hughes was the star man for us, IMO. They were getting so frustrated with him, he was popping up all over midfield looking for the ball and almost all of his passes connected. Thought Keogh played well, seemed to be confident and composed than in recent weeks. Hope this him returning to the level we've been used to. Impressed again with Smith and thought Forsyth was good going forward. Difficult to judge him defensively as I didn't think he had too much to do. Eustace showed his worth, broke up the play in midfield and enabled Hughes and Bryson to push on. Great result, great performance. Roll on next week. Shuff264
I cannot believe how bad the defending was for brysons third "2e6e10fe1ea4ba840ce7da1f059db48c" alt="2e6e10fe1ea4ba840ce7da1f059db48c">
Anag Ram
Absolutely terrific that we got a result like this and that we scored such good goals. Still think that against the better teams we will need better defenders.
DesertRam
Fantastic result, hopefully more of the same at Bolton, I'd settle for a draw at the Scum... Leicester could be a problem, if we are confident - we'll win.
North_Stand_Ram
Did anyone see Hughses back heel to Bryson just before he scored his second. Absolute class. Won't see a classier goal this season.

What about the 2nd goal against Brentford - carved them open with 5 passes & good movement (started & finished by Connor S)
Inverurie Ram
Another team we don't have a great record against beaten. Things are changing, well done the club. Good to see Andy Garner again, given the spotlight on the FLS, DCTV after a massive win etc for the post match interviews. Nige not hanging around to take any glory, understanding the team ethos. With Andy Garner praising the team playing attitude of Connor Sammon on the bench, and his encouragement and praise of others. Also great to see all the players together celebrating after goals and Keogh encouraging everyone and putting an arm round young Mason after his goal. All positive team work. Here's hoping their are a lot more days on and off the park like this one.
Jayram
So , whenever we whoop a team in this division , it's gonna be 'they were *****' .. oh kayyy.. To be fair, Millwall really are ***** - even Yeovil have beaten them and they are proper *****!

Him being that DM was a big reason for brysons hat trick, he could just go anywhere cause he knew Eustace was going to be there in that hole
