with all these brilliant players, Hendrick is awesome. There's a thread where Sammon is the best in the championship. Plenty think Ward is awesome. Some say Brayford is the best in the league. Hughes is awesome. Keogh is amazing.

I have to wonder why we're hovering around 'average' in the league.

Mostyn. I do.

Good for you. I only care about what Notts F*rest are doing when we are playing them. Although it does grate me that for all their turmoil, they're in with a chance, and they seem to have a bit of magic with their manager. But hey, they're now drawing.

Mostyn Hendrick is stiLl brilliant.

I wouldn't go that far. He's still learning. If you compare him to players in own age, he's arguably the best at this level and better than some who are on the fringes in the Premier League.

I'd love to see him realise his potential here at Derby, but he's still not anywhere near his best yet.

Promising and a decent ball player. Not much demand for box to box or jack of all trades midfielders in the PL.

I'd like to see him specialise in something.

Poor before Christmas. He's carried us through a few games since.

Experienced for his age

He does...volleys.

The way he runs past players like he does is top class.

Won't be long before he's in the Premier League, if not with us, with someone else.

He does it with such ease. If he had a tough tackling midfielder to back him up I think he would make allot more and be more direct with them.

Hendrick is in good form but he's average for this division. Good technique for last nights goal but I haven't seen a softer goal scored from 18+ yards in a while. Didnt have much power on it yet evaded everyone!

McGugan, Majewski and Lansbury have all been **** for the most part of this season yet when they're in form they change the outcome in their games. They are the difference between them losing and drawing. Drawing and winning. Unfortunately I don't think we'd miss Jeff Hendrick at all if he was out, he just doesn't have that bigger picture effect on our team.

Him and Bryson are the 2 main reasons why our midfield is a sieve. Luckily we came up against a bunch of shitters last night, they get shown up against half decent CM pairings as we all have seen all too often this year.

They're the best we have and exactly why we are mid table.
