inter politics Posted February 14, 2013 Share Posted February 14, 2013 There can't be many Championship teams who would be willing to let one of their left backs go at this stage of the season...it is a problem area for many clubs (including premier league teams) - there does seem to be a general lack of quality left backs at all the different levels of football. Clough pointed out that throwing a kid in who may or may not be ready could be harmful in the long term... don't wanna knock thier confidence too badly... And he has a relatively good history of picking up palyers who other teams aren't playing... Jamie Ward and Paul Coutts spring immediately to mind...
