So have we all just seen the goals then? Can't believe it. The first was a cracker, nobody could stop that, yeah the original clearance wasn't excellent, but 9 times out of 10 it would do the job. The second goal, well, Lego should have done better, so unlucky, its unreal. The third though, with Buxton red carded and Brayford moved into midfield there was nobody at right back. Clough's/Buxton's fault for the 3rd.

Anyone hear the post match interview with Clough. The better half said RD had to apologise for Nigel's language - what dud he say

Radio derby at their most nanny-ish

Nigel said.....hopefully we got all the rubbish and all the crap decisions out of the way.

after the apology it was edited and replayed as " hopefully we got all the rubbish decisions out of the way".

Pathetic really.

Does that make losing 3-0 away to a team in the bottom three OK then I guess?

Just shows how valuable a midfielder Bryson is.

you have hit the nail on the head there , he has hardly missed a game since he went down to derby and funny enough every one he has missed has reulted in defeat ,not even a draw amongst them !! anyone who covers 12-13k a match will be badly missed by any team ,that equates to 2 midfielders running in a game , and before anyone says anything he can play too

Posh ain't as bad a team as their position might suggest, ok the result is far from ideal but they put 3 past Hull the other week at their place and 3 past Huddersfield, both who are above us.

Now obviously it's not ok but it's not as though we are the only team they'll put 3 past this season and let's not forget the howler for their second, that can't be legislated for. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

I didn't go to game, so it will be interesting to know what you thought of it given this post is so far off?

Certainly..

Leggo- Nothing short of fantastic bar the juggling he did. Would have been 5-6 nil without him in goals today, fantastic.

Brayf- Nothing special, put some good balls in.

Keogh- Worst game so far, waste of money though? What a joke of a comment that is.

Bucko- I think he was unlucky with the second yellow, seemed to get something on the ball. Played alright.

Roberts- Not bad, too shy on the ball.

Coutts- Wouldn't say he was *****, some alright link up play with Brayford throughout. Lacked the killer final ball.

Hendrick- One I agree with, awful.

Hughes- Left to do the majority of the midfield work due to his partners incompetence, expectedly over-run.

Jacobs- Played quite well, always a threat going forward and beats his man 9/10. Should have kept him on.

Theo- Appalling. Stand the **** up.

Sammon- Played poor, he seems to be creating chances, not on the end of them.

Clough brought on O'connor because Hendrick was bloody awful. It was a change that had to be made one way or another.

Overall, their first was a wonder goal. Legz kept us in it straight after. Looked the better team with 11, then again with 10. Theo's chance should have changed the game for us, obviously it didn't. Comfortable until Legz dropped one in for them, then they got us again on the break. 3-0 looks like a battering, far from it. Really disappointed to lose to Peterborough though, they will go down. Missed Bryson so much in there, Hendrick a waste of space.

Roll on next Saturday when hopefully Ward and Bryson will be back.

Regardless of the opposition being Peterborough or anyone else we lost simply because we weren't good enough, we conceded the first goal not because it was wonder strike but because we didn't clear the ball properly from the corner because we're not good enough, Robinson missed an open goal because he's not good enough, Buxton got sent off not because the referee was incompetent but because Buxton wasn't good enough to make the tackle and so on and so on....

All of Clough's players, who himself is not good enough himself to get us anywhere in this division...I can't understand the mentality of folks on here saying never mind always next week....I seem also to remember that we scraped a last minute winner against Ipswich where yesterday a bottom 3 team tonked them 3-0 at home, speaks volumes about out standard of play and ambition

I don't like hearing about how P'Boro have found form. If Fulham play Wigan and Wigan are in form and Fulham are unbeaten in 5 would Wigan be the favourites?

Where are P'Boro going to finish?

Are we serious about improving or not? That was a winnable game before kick off. Not easy, but winnable.

Offer any other club Ipswich and P'Boro for the next two games. They'd all see potential for six big points.

That just isnt true, Jacobs almost never beat his man, if you watch the game back you'll see that he didnt.

He's like too many wingers these days, got bags of pace, but hasnt got the ability on the ball to take it past someone. Fair enough he can kick it and run after it, but he hasnt got any tricks or guile to take it round someone. Yesterday you saw him run with the ball, still have the defender shadowing him so he's forced to play a simple pass. He hasnt got a brain.

Apart from that i agree with everything else you said.

It's games like that which really make you doubt Clough as a manager, off the back of some good results, played some good possession football away from home this year and then all we did yesterday was hoof it into channels. Buxton and Keogh were the root of this bad performance with Clough taking the blame for letting it happen.

Just shows how valuable a midfielder Bryson is.

Well the same was said for Coutts against Huddersfield, if one persons exclusion results in a poor performance and a 3-0 defeat, then it's a god awful excuse for a 'team' isn't it? Personally I do think that Bryson's or Coutts' omission as an excuse for a bad game is ridiculous.

Just watched the highlights, every chance they had they just charged forward with confidence and no apparent threat of being dispossessed. Like has been said for the first goal, instead of lumping the ball clear into the centre of the pitch, his it towards the corner flag (that old chestnut) instead of the congested areas. Second goal was unlucky because it took a deflection and had some spin on it, although you'd expect Legzdins to catch it. Third goal we were nowhere near them.

Haven't seen the whole game but it looked like a totally dire performance and not at all comparable with any other game we've played. Although you could say (as some other games), going forward we hardly offer a threat. We need someone to step up their performances or to get somebody else in because there is no creativity up there. No confidence.
