Unfortunately we have too many selfish people in society in general, not just in our fan base, who think the world revolves around them and will do what they want.

Let's deal with the pathetic Collymore song first. 

I'm not disputing that you sat in the East stand. I'm disputing that you've said as fact that the authorities have given Derby permission for standing to occur in a all seater stadium. You don't seem to understand the history and/or that it is law. As already said, a minimum wage steward's opinion doesn't change the law.

It really isnt allowed under the stadium rules B4. South stand is a seated area. There is no agreement otherwise. As someone just mentioned there were some terrible tragedies that led to all seater stadiums. However, its always been known that fans stand in south stand since the allocations switched around. Same for back rows of other stands. A blind eye is turned. I and most others have no issue with that and get that many want to stand BUT standing in other areas selfishly spoiling the experience for others who have sat there for years and pay good money to do so is just going to lead to a backlash about standing generally. The wide discussion of it will also draw it to the attention of the authorities and as we know they like us to be made an example of.

You do talk some utter rubbish.
For the first 15 odd years of PPS I had my season ticket right in the middle, back row of the East stand. The folk around me were all flask and sandwich bringing oldies, everyone sat down the entire game. Sure there was Higgo and his small group of rowdy youngsters in the South East corner but the East stand for the vast majority was seated.
The club definitely haven't got permission from the EFL/FA to turn a seated venue into a standing one (without the necessary safe standing rail seats) as this isn't their decision, it's simply the law. The stadium is 100% seated. The occasional blind eyes may be turned but the club have to show they are making effort to enforce the law. If they do not, the safety certificate will be removed. We've seen it all other stadiums where entire stands are closed, or worse the stadium is closed.

Nonsense. Everybody used to sit when the stadium opened, even the away fans. People need to start observing the rules before the law gets changed!

It doesn't matter what the personal opinions of the stewards are.  On their day off, they may well enjoy going to a game as a spectator, and may well prefer to stand themselves.  But it matters not, once he gets to work.

They have a job to do, and their orders/list of duties come from their employer.  In turn, that employer is governed by DCFC... Who in part, will be further governed by both laws of the land, and ground safety regulations.
If his supervisor tells him to keep walking up and down the stairs telling people to sit down, he will.  It's his job.  Even if standing doesn't bother him personally.

Of course, If he felt strongly against making people sit down, he could of course resign, but as you say, he's just "Not bothered", so he'll probably just do his job.

He appeared to enjoy his time at Derby and still comments favourably about us. 

To me, it always seemed like he was the one with the tactical nous and Lampard was the ‘name’ that did the TV and media stuff. 
He had great success with the Chelsea young uns and Frank appears to have struggled since, without Jody by his side. 
 
I will be genuinely keen to see how he gets on as Manager and hope he brings them success. 

Agree, it’s awful that anyone should be made to feel that way.

But what if after, say, 30 minutes in the south stand you started to get tired and needed to sit down? Would you get evicted from the ground or just relocated to the totaya stand? 
 

Me, too. I am working so hard to get a full season away this year  - I've never done a complete season before. If I succeed I will probably never use my new category as I've just about had enough of all the abuse that we older women get from some of our own supporters.

I said at the time that there should be 6-7 minutes added on but wouldn’t be surprised if they only said 4. 
So to see 9 minutes go up did at least confirm that they had recognised the amount of time wasting going on. Although a couple more yellow cards (certainly one for the keeper) should have been shown.

The away ticket allocation has suddenly got even more difficult with the inclusion of a Venn diagram on the website ??
and maybe even a tiny area for those that just want to sit, watch and enjoy the game perhaps?
