  1. i am not afraid to see i thought the warne appointment was unnesserey at the time, things were going okay but there was a clear plan. then it was thrown out and the appointment of warn puzzled me however good his track record was.

but hes proving me wrong, we are playing great stuff at the moment and look nailed on for the playoffs which would be a great achievement considering where we came from in the summer.

I’m very 50/50 on that first United goal, because the City defence stop and once that happens it’s not automatically on the officials to stop the game. The city defence and Ederson have enough time and are in a postion to defend that properly, because they all but gave up believing Rashford to be offside shouldn’t be a reason to disallow it imo. I see the other side to this, and obviously if it happened to Derby I’d be first one on at the officials, but in a VAR led officiating system it’s an even more extreme version of playing to the whistle in my opinion. You have to keep playing and then let VAR sort out the mess afterwards.

oh come on its clearly off. if rashford isnt there then the man city defenders react completely differently to the ball.

that is interfering with play. i think its either a poor decision or an awful rule that needs changing instantly.

  3. chelsea seem like a s*** show from top to bottom, the amount of money they have spent and got worse is quite an achievement.

potter never looked a good fit there, he tinkers too much to build a truly successful winning side. he has never had that winning mentality, he often values performance over results and that doesnt wash at clubs that want to win everything

Cooper is getting a tune out of Forest. Got to give him credit.

Cooper would easily have Everton or West Ham safe from any danger.

Pains to admit it, but he’s a decent manager and certainly not among the three worst in the PL.

What is also interesting is Forest have become a lot more stable defensively after ditching the back three formation to a back four.

They aren’t conceding many goals at all and that is what is earning them results.

its all a bit grim at the minute, especially considering just over a year ago we were pretty much on an even par with them even with a points deduction

semi final and look like they are going to survive. they are lucky b*******, cant wait for cooper to leave for a bigger club. can't see them dropping until he does as much as it pains me to say.

Beating Southampton 1-0 doesn’t necessarily mean they’re ready to shoot up the league.

this is perfect really. They’ll spend a s*** load on January thinking just a little bit more quality will see them safe. Then they’ll implode and go down anyway, being in twice as much debt.

no it doesnt you are right but they have been decent for a while now, better than those around them anyway

Southampton and Bournemouth look nailed on. The third team could be interesting.

I’d still mark Forest as favourites for that third spot. Wolves have got a top manager now and they will pull out of it.

Everton, West Ham or Leeds. Any of those going down wouldn’t be bad consolation should Forest survive.

i think the toxicity around everton and west ham could make a difference. leeds has the potential to turn sour as well.

i dont think forest will go down, the fat greek will keep throwing cash at it

Based on his wages from coming in on loan from a Premier league club. Would'nt be surprised if Dobbin is the 2nd highest paid, but that information is not shown. On the same site (Capology), I went into Ipswich and Sheff Weds figures, both paying out more in wages with Wednesday seasons bill at £6.72m and both clubs don't pull in the same crowds at home games as the Rams.

it would be highly unlikely we would be covering his entire wage packet.

its a loan for his development, we would probably be covering a portion that would equate to the average wage at this level regardless of how much the premier league clubs are paying them.

  8. the thing is his set peices have always been his strength. teams have often sacrificed the team to him to get him on the pitch just for his set plays.

you would assume set plays are something you never lose as a footballer.

Part of the problem is that the UK is now the home of money laundering - private eye have done loads on London based brass plate companies used to launder dirty Russian money.

money laundering happens in every country, and its certainly more likely to happen if your company details are well hidden.

as far as im concerned it's a no brainer for the game of football than all UK based football teams should be based and operated in the UK

  10. it didn't help us but a basic requirement for ANY takeover in the english game should be that the company has to be registered in the united kingdom.

no cayman islands, no BVI, no hong kong stock exchange. if you want to play by our rules then we should demand transparency.

at least if you are trying to hide something you know they are hiding something like mel did by not submitting accounts.

birmingham will never be able to resolve their ownership issues for a long time because the ownership style is so complicated. its not worth the effort or the money to try and take them over

Sorry to be a party pooper here, whilst that was one of the best clubs in European football, last night was not one of the best teams.

They made 11 changes, Tsimikas, Gomez and Carvalho are what you would call first team players, however none would start with a fully fit squad. Oxlade-Chamberlain is also a bench player at best now coming back from injury.

Firmino, Elliott and Nunez came on for just 25 minutes, had they played longer I’m not sure it would have reached penalties.

You are right to be proud though, it was a battling display and whilst not a strong Liverpool team, against up and coming players that would not look out of place at Championship level at least now.

A great morale booster but that’s all it is.

if we don’t follow it up with a good result against Mk dons it’s all irrelevant.

    Good question re: Bielik.

I think he works best as a single holding midfielder in front of a back 4, allowing two other CMs to play more advanced. However, I believe he could be very useful as a the central defender in a back 3, picking out passes, making vital challenges and blocks. Cashin, Bielik and Chester would be a solid back 3 in this league.

Can we afford to have Bielik here because of his wages?
