If Ashley wanted to buy us he's had plenty of opportunities. The guy is a vulture and left Newcastle's infrastructure to rot before selling them for a fat profit. Not sure why anyone would want him here. Rooney would probably be gone, we'd likely have a 15-point penalty and then next season is already starting to look terrible before a ball has been kicked. The administrators clearly have a preference for who to take over the club.

Assuming the cumulative total is right the away attendance shows we're the largest draw in the division. We are a higher category game for a lot of clubs in the league. No different for when teams are in the Prem and the guaranteed sell outs are for when United/Liverpool etc. come to town, people don't get excited about watching their teams vs. Watford and in the Championship people aren't that excited when Hull are coming to town. Be interesting to see how much of a pull we are in League One now...as suspect we will push a lot of home gates up significantly. Sunderland are bigger than we are so would traditionally think they'd be no. 1 but they've been down there a while now, Wednesday arguably bigger/same size and not been down there that long. Could be same again next year. Lets hopefully not try it in League Two too soon though..

Mel's not fit to have his name mentioned in the same sentence as Lionel Pickering for me. Maybe nostalgia but Lionel's legacy was having left us with PPS, having built it for us and depleted his fortune to basically nothing in doing so. I'd think Lionel would be turning in his grave to see the ground being separated out from the club and potentially DCFC being homeless and/or liquidated. The difference I think is that I/we believe Mel has money (Pickering didn't) and so it is his in effect his choosing to put us in this situation.

Well mel if you are reading this 30k at pp demanding to give ground back and that is what you should do now give keys to kircher and let the club to be reborn as derby county no matter if you dont like somebody in most work places you still have to work with them. And to me this the same you know Rooney is right for for this club he done his best with hands tied behind his back. This also with kircher you may not like him but he wants to do what best for this club. Just do one last thing do the right thing and see the club kircher have a brighter future.
But I am asking you to leave with some honour and respect for the derby fans that has support this great club derby county since 1884 and none of this to end.

I still think kircher will get us.

Yeah, he's all about pumping money in, isn't he?
That's why he put in a monster bid at the start of this process.
That's not the way he operates. He spends the bare minimum.
He may be wealthy but that doesn't necessarily correlate with spending (the opposite if anything). Besides, there's far more to building a club than just having money.

Good luck to Chris on his first day in charge of our finances. He has shown real nerve in this most difficult time. I can’t believe that Derby city council would let DCFC leave the area. Some of the estimates have been a bit wild as to the income benefit to the region. But that money could now go to a city like Stoke.
