Second shirt to view was the legend Kevin Hector’s No7 shirt from his final game, I am lucky to own a match worn No7 Patrick shirt so I won’t be bidding on that one.

I had the pleasure today to go and look at the Alan Hinton shirt at Hansons, this shirt is special because not only was it worn in the first few games of the championship winning season in 1971/72 but it was the first time that the new snorting Ram was seen on a shirt, it was the old shirt with the rings on the collar and the cuffs but with that fantastic new emblem of Derby County ! After a few matches they changed to the completely blank white shirt that we are more familiar with !

Another superb and rare piece of Derby County history added to the shirt collection today, it was one of our own members, @secretsquirrel That made this possible. The lovelynumber 5 players shirt from the 1975 season worn by Roy McFarland.
i am forever thankful to the guys on here @Richard Dastard Lee @Secret Squirrel @Will I Ram @PrivateDerby And all the other guys who continue to assist in building a fantastic collection of shirts that hopefully we can all share at some point in the future !
if anybody has any other 50, 60s or 70s shirts just sitting in cupboards or wardrobes or dusty lofts then please Le me know !

Holy cow ! I never thought that the day would arrive when my own personal holy grail of Derby County shirts made its way into my collection, 1982 player worn Patrick shirt, Christmas has certainly arrived early, massive thanks to my old mate Dave (no not him) for making this happen !
What a fantastic thing to own and treasure !

Another big thanks going out to @Will I Ram for allowing me to become the next custodian of his 1977 player worn third shirt, very rare item and filled one of the holes in my collection, I really appreciate it thank you mate ! This is the third great shirt that I have been given custody of from this great forum, there are still a couple I’m sure who may have a few treasures stuffed away in a draw that need to see the light of day, if there is please let me know ! I, particularly thinking of @Secret Squirrel ???, in the mean time please share a moment to look at this beauty !

It’s only the match shirts that are tight, the ordinary polo shirts are normal sizes so xl will be fine

Great result, the guy selling it just thought it was an ordinary replica, so I made him an offer and he changed it from auction to buy it now for me, on his photos he didn’t even show the arm badges, that is what makes this shirt very unique, not many around with those arm badges, also the ram and pro wear are embroidered! All rounded off with a nice felt number 10 on the back, also the two stripes on auto windscreens are both black.

As always with these things it’s not what they are worth or how much somebody would like to pay but how much somebody can afford to pay ! It’s a rare iconic Patrick shirt and then you factor in the fact that it was worn by the legend that is Kevin Hector in his last game for Derby I would assume anything from £1,500 to £3,000 on the same day the Alan Hinton is up for sale and that will go for the same I would think !
