Have I missed an official club statement or a tweet from the supporters groups who were due to have a meeting with Quantuma at 11am today?
Until then I won't get myself in a froth around all these reports from Nixon and Percy. I don't think either of them have been in a call with the admins, so they are getting fed 2nd, 3rd or 4th hand news.

you’re boring mate, if you’re that certain clear off to another club.
There’s people who rely on this club and statements like yours don’t help. If you’re certain we are going to be liquidated go buy your city or liverpool shirt now.
I know I and many people will support this club until the end and IF that happens will support the phoenix club.

I’m quite surprised anyone reading Wayne’s comments really thought he meant tonight when he said ‘by tomorrow’. Maybe that’s just me. Not to open a whole ‘this Saturday/Next Saturday’ debate.

The whole point of appointing administrators is so they can look at potential buyers/investors to see if they are credible enough to take on the debt and move the club out of admin.....so why would the EFL be asking for proof of funds ??? insinuating there overriding the administrators
So admin select the preffered bidder ( based on having the funds ) and then they take the club over but the EFL want to also see proof of funds!! Sorry but this either total tosh or the story has been glorified to make it appear massive news...when it isnt!

The longer this goes on though the more the story will gain negativity....I can't help thinking that the weasel Gibson and two bob Wycombe are not helping this process....please please Derby do not give them parasites one penny

You are totally overreacting.  Wayne said all we really need to hear today. The rest is journalistic tittle tattle.
You say: Rooneys comments today suggested to me it would be tonight, "we will know BY tomorrow".
Now I know Wayne is not the most eloquent of speakers. But I am pretty sure if he thought the details of the preferred bidder were going to be announced tonight he might have mumbled the sentence “we will know BY tonight”. Perhaps though I am giving him far too much credit.

The situation really isn’t perilous buddy. You and the guy who thinks Mackworth Ram is a god ? are totally overreacting to a bit of tittle tattle in the paper. Who is it that has suggested to you that it is too early for Ashley to enter the fray if it is not the milkman?

And another thing.  The article only refers to the proof funds potentially delaying Rooney signing players - if true.  It says nothing about delaying the preferred bidder.

So many people seem to be misinterpreting what the Percy story is saying.
EFL require proof of future funding before they will approve/register any new contracts/signings, the story is nothing to do with them approving a preferred bidder.
    It's a non-story.

Not to naming a preferred bidder, no. It's still a stumbling block to the actual takeover, however.
Their statement indicated that the situation would still need to be discussed / negotiated / dealt with once the preferred bidder was in place - it didn't say they'd wave it away and say 'see you in court'.
(although it didn't say they wouldn't)

I suspect this may have on item on the agenda anyway.  And I think the administrators were asked to provide proof funds we could complete the season when they were appointed in the event a sale didn’t go through before the end of the season.
He says Ashley is considering a bid, so in his view means it’s not yet in.  You could then draw the conclusion that it’s the Appleby, Rush & Moxey triumvirate who are the PB.  As Moxey is on the EFL Committee, all have experience of running a football club do we really think this would be an issue?
He also states that the ‘Boro and Wycombe issues are a stumbling block, which the administrators have confirmed it isn’t.
A regurgitation of old stuff issued at a time to make it looks like it’s new and “exclusive”.  And if it really did come out of the meeting things like that are usually preceded with the phrase “a source close to the EFL said……”.

It's just a re-hash of the same story Nixon posted back in October. If we want to sign players we have to show we can fund them.

Read that Twitter feed from Football Insights. Nothing to see here, just a re-hash of old speculation from Nixon and Percy, he even seems to have been questioned on diallo and responded with “sorry I’m not following it closely”
We should only pay attention to BAWT updates, Quantuma updates and Rooney updates. The last ones were positive, if the next ones are not then we should be more concerned.

The admins have already said the ongoing delays are nothing to do with the boro and Wycombe claims and the continued press stories referring to it aren't true.

Why does the preferred bidder need to be announced this week otherwise impending doom?
The latest update confirmed short term funding in place until preferred bidder, and that we’re able to extend contracts and even bring in a player. It’s becoming clearer to me the delay is the result of Ashley getting involved, surely that’s prudent of the administrators to drive up bidding to ensure a better chance of negotiating with creditors.

Surely the update we want is on contract extensions, a signing and chances of retaining the current squad where it makes sense to do so.

Snippet from the phone-in last night because no one else seemingly picks up on these bits!
Radio Derby say they keep asking question but the administrators aren’t talking to media at this moment (and I’m not really sure as to why they would atm), so any news about the club is either being leaked or from ‘the other side’ and therefore there’s an agenda behind it.
Much like the statement this morning, it’s a case if staying calm and hope steady movement is being made.
FWIW I thought Nixon and Percy have been a little out of order these last few days with their postings and articles. They are both good journalists but Nixon’s cryptic answers and Percy’s last couple of articles that only portray one side have not been helpful or with the best journalistic integrity imo.

Talking to the media could scupper any sort of deal, what if you say something that could be portrayed that Ashley is now in pole position, Appleby consortium drops out which lets Ashley offers less? Don’t think anybody would be happy with that
Keep quiet, got your business sorted and let everyone else play silly buggers if you ask me

I still sense this is getting closer and closer to someone getting into preferred bidder status
    - the administrators are talking to Boro to resolve that situation
-someone is telling by the administrators to turn down those bids
-clubs trying to get our players before the door shuts
-if we are allowed to extend and sort out some contracts
I could be wrong, and there’s a lot of noise right now, but none of that is now saying ‘there’s a lot to sort out still’. I’m putting my cards on the table and saying this must now be close

That’s exactly my thoughts.  They can’t be a creditor as they haven’t provided any goods or services.  Gibson obviously knows he has a weak case in the courts so is trying this route.  The EFL won’t support it as there is no case to answer and their process is defined as courts/arbitration and settle between the parties.  If they do, they know they will be opening a huge can of worms for clubs suing each other and our admin would launch a counter claim against the EFL.
That’s of course assuming it true.  Not a single quote.  Even the Daily Mail are able to have “sources”.
