Succession was great although not watched Season 3 yet, but Gomorrah is better imho. In my top 3 or 4 of all time.
Just finished the latest Narcos - 8.5/10 - every single season has been outstanding with some absolutely world-class acting. Nothing has quite matched the first 2 with Escobar, but that's like complaining Igor Stimac wasn't quite Colin Todd.Out of interest, what else is in your top 3 or 4 as we seem to have similar tastes Bob

Sat up until gone 4AM this morning watching Gomorrah. Last four episodes tonight. Googled to check possibility of season 6 only two episodes in due to early onset of separation anxiety. Sadly not. Questa è la fine.
GF at her folks' place until Thursday, so tonight I'll be sat in my boxers eating lamb shanks and drinking Nikka as the last few episodes unfold. Meant to be working tomorrow but clearly that's getting bumped. Ah well, it's a hard life, but someone's gotta live it.
Trying to save the whole series, thinking of sending missus and kids out for the day between Christmas and New Year, and binge watching it with a couple of bottles of red wine and a cheese board

The EFL will wait to see what plays out between Boro, Wycombe and Derby and yes they will be loving it.
Immediately after a settlement is reached the EFL will create new rules stopping clubs from charging each other, IE: us charging QPR and Villa.
But surely, if as they keep claiming, they are doing all in their power to help the administrators facilitate a suitable exit path from administration, they should be saying to Boro and Wycombe 'ok you've made your point, now leave it be'. The silence from the EFL on the subject smacks of twisting the knife a little further if this is indeed a sticking point for any takeover. I think the Supporters Groups need to be lobbying the EFL on this and demanding some sort of statement on their stance.

Another win for Derbys Sandy Ryan last night. Ref was a bit quick to stop it in my opinion, but there was only ever going to be one winner.
She looks very good. Saw her last fight when she nailed her opponent with a brutal body shot. Hoping she keeps progressing, she looks capable of reaching the top.

Loved Gomorrah. One of the best TV series I can remember for a long time but L’Immortale? Meh. I thought it was OK but not much more.
You guys that have enjoyed Gomorrah so much, have any of you done Suburra, Blood on Rome? Thinking of watching this over Christmas.

You guys watched L'Immortale. It's a feature released between S04 and 5 as a bit of a placeholder. Worth a watch if you love the shows - doesn't quite scale the same heights, but it's a petty handy place setter.
Yes i watched L'Immortale not long ago, same as you, not on a par with the series but well worth a watch especially if you like the Ciro character.

I have this ready to go. LOVED the first 2 seasons and I hear the finale for this season was standout.
I know I said it before, but the scriptwriting is so clever and the acting is top-drawer whilst reaming deliberately tongue-in-cheek.
But much as I love it, I really cannot wait for this to drop on Saturday!
Get in, probably my favorite ever series Gomorrah. Can't wait.

Once upon a time the EFL would take action against a player inciting fans. Hear they are going to do that once referees start booking players waving imaginary cards
Probably get the EFL Player of the Month for taking the p!ss out of Derby to be fair.

The missus wants us to watch After Life together. Thoughts please?

The Trip (on Netflix), Norwegian dark comedy, funny and quite gory, really enjoyed it.
Its a Phil Gee/10 for me

I *think* that John Gregory was the only player since to war to score the first and last goal of a Derby season that year.
Thats a cracking bit of trivia if correct

@@NottsRam on the theme of Italian made TV I meant to mention ZeroZeroZero. A lot of folk did not like it, least on here, perhaps because it's a tad downbeat and melancholy. Have a peep and see for yourself if you've not already. I think it's very good FWIW.

Yes i watched this, thought it was okay to be fair. Also done McMafia and Gangs of London, both were okay as well but looking forward to watching Suburra and the new series of Gomorrah.

I’ve seen Subarra. Doesn’t quite reach the heights of Gomorrah but still very watchable.
Thanks Tamworth, Gomorrah sets a high bar to be fair. One of the best series i've ever seen.

Gomorrah season 5 airs in November. Top of my Xmas boxset-binge list.
Watched Free Guy which I was quite prepared to hate, but I actually found myself chortling away throughout. It's a daft, anarchic bit of nonsense, but that somehow doesn't prevent it being a fun watch. 7/10
Really looking forward to Gomorrah season 5. Just lined up Suburra to watch next, have you seen it?

L'immortale - a sequel/prequel to the excellent tv series Gomorrah. In the 2 hours it cannot capture the same dizzy heights of the series but is a decent watch - 7.5/10 for me.

I ended up catching covid during the last home match (I lead a boring life so definitely know it was there I caught it from). Having to isolate until Saturday so gave my season ticket seat to someone who could make use of it. I daresay there may be quite a few in the same boat.
Same here, last night was last day in isolation so i gifted our tickets to friends. They loved it so hopefully will be back

Not started on Gomorrah latest season yet but started to watch Brotherhood instead, seen first few episodes and pleasantly surprised so far.
