I started watching Time last night, enjoying it, I would imagine @MuespachRam is glued to this, I heard he loves watching dodgy horrible Scousers especially ones that have been sent to prison!

Just finished watching Time, it was really good.  The only downside for me is Stephen Graham who is a bit too much like a scouse Billy Davies for my liking ?

Shouldn't have mentioned a top 10 should I? Under pressure now! ? A few obvious ones with a couple of bolters at the end...

    • True Detective (season 1 only) - Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, brilliant script, dark as fook. Brilliant.
    • The Wire - epic US crime series with fantastic characters and dialogue
    • The Sopranos - What can I say. RIP James Gandolfini
    • Deadwood - apparently the sweariest series ever - A virtuoso performance from Ian McShane and just great fun
    • Band of Brothers - A masterpiece pure and simple
    • Rick & Morty - animated anarchy
    • Edge of Darkness - Found this long after it's release but despite being very old, it's stunning. Joe Don Williams masterclass
    • 4 Blocks - Subtitled version not dubbed!! It's tough being a crime lord

Will have a think about a few more less well known ones when I get a chance

Many thanks, i will have a read up on some of those i haven't seen.

Suburra is great too, without hitting the heady heights of Gomorra. In fairness, not much does.

I'm planning on watching L'immortale shortly before season 5 airs, as a bit of a refresher. Fingers crossed the show remains as well crafted as prior seasons. Thus far it remains firmly embedded in my 'Top 10 Ever' list.

Out of interest, what else is in you top ten?  Would like to see if i'm missing out on anything.  Thanks

  4. Just finished series 4 of Gomorra, a quite brilliant watch.  Feeling a little lost but i believe series 5 is out later this year.  Going to watch Suburra next and hope its somewhere near as good.  Also got L'Immortal to watch which is the spin off film from Gomorra so should keep me busy for now.

Will do. But again the drafting of it is the issue. I have to draft numerous reports for my businesses and i am sorry that was way below the standard of an official letter Did the branch committees' have sight of the final draft before it was sent? (hypothetically).

The content of the letter was provided, not the final draft.  For me, the important thing was the content, not how the letter looked.  There wasn't time to canvass opinion from all members so branch committees made the decision on their member's behalf, which is what they are elected to do.

I Have already sent an e-mail last night expressing that from myself and some close Rams that this doesn't speak for us as a whole.

i think the letter is misguided and trouble making at a time when it isn't needed, i am a member of the official supporters club and i see it is been signed by one of the officials, again no official consultation has took place.

Don't usually get annoyed about anything DCFC other than results but is has really irked myself and a few others close to me.

    COYR.

Just to be clear, every branch committee of the Supporters Club was consulted before the letter was signed by the representative and i believe the unanimous response was to sign.  If you have an issue with this you really need to take it up with your branch at committee level.

Wow I was literally now going to ask if anyone had experience of the effectiveness of St John's Wort.

I am certainly not claiming to be depressed but over the last few weeks I have been experiencing occasional days of low mood. Sometimes I don't realise it until the next day when I wake up fine and other times I know I'm being a miserable bar steward but can't seem to do anything about it. Then I get angry with myself for not being able to snap out of it. I haven't experienced it before - it's like it feels like I'm under a blanket or something & I'm trying and failing to lift it off me.

Mrs Wolfie has suggested taking SJW but I have no experience of it. I was once on anti-anxiety medication 10 years or so ago but don't really like popping pills. I weaned myself off that medication as soon as I felt I was able to and am wary of taking anything I might become dependent on.

I'd be grateful for any feedback on SJW or other herbal stuff.

I was looking into SJW for some time but ultimately decided to try 5HTP.  I am about a month into using it now and have been pleasantly surprised by the results.  The number of good days has grown and now outweighs bad days by a good margin.  Sleep has also improved greatly, from 3 to 4 hours a night now I am looking at 6 to 7 hours.  It seems a little less prohibitive than SJW in terms of what you can take at the same time (although I am on nothing else), and also does not seem to have the potential side effects either.  I bought online from Natures Best or something like that.  it recommends to take between 1 and 3 tablets a day (I have stuck to two, one in morning, one before bed) for 3 months, then stop taking and see what the effect is.  I will let you know when I get there.  I was getting desperate for some respite from low mood, anxiety and sleep issues.  These are helping no end.
