Played really well at Alfreton last night. Held up and laid off the ball very well against some big defenders.

Well just feel moving ball midfield to forwards area if a bit quicker catch teams out.

Well last night performance was better we were passing ball better but desecion making need to better one or two better balls could seen derby 4 or 5 up by half time. But we need pick up pace we need move ball faster but moving at speed going to be key on saturday.

There are loads of crap male refs and will prob be same for female refs the more they come into the game. Does not matter what gender you are as long as you are good.

My Mum would have made a good Ref bless her, She'd have given hell to all those that disagreed with her, But kissed them on their cheeks and wiped away their tears after the game had finished, And would have cakes in her car for them to take home ?
On a serious note, For someone who was brought up in a very male dominated game all those years ago, It's a good read that Rebecca Welch has met with a good few plaudits...long may it continue ??

I should add that she's smaller than Thommo, so to control a L1 fixture without the relative advantage of physical stature is quite impressive. 
I've also felt that the female linos we've had have been better than many of the male ones, so I think we'll be seeing entirely female officiating teams in due course. 

This should not be an issue. The ability to referee is not about gender it is about ability and the referee did a good job last night. There will always be contentious decisions because there are 20,000 + biased referees in the stands which adds to the enjoyment and emotion of the game. Hopefully the gender of the referee will be immaterial in the years to come.

She did well. A bit soft to stop play for the Cheltenham defender with a mild leg issue first-half, but overall handled it well even if it wasn't the testiest of games. 
The fact that I never once called her a  #*¢¿×¥ *! #¶©  is a sure sign she did alright. 

Thought she did a good job tonight. It's easy to criticise from the sidelines, but it's not so simple to make these snap calls on the pitch.
Nice to see both teams being a bit more respectful too, though that really should be the case irrespective of gender. I've always maintained that it's an easy fix. Simply apply the same rules and standards as they do in rugby and the backchat would end overnight. Swear just the once at an official and that's your game over, no excuses, no debate. Sadly the governing bodies don't have the interests of game officials on their list of priorities.

There was a DCFC camera there, so hopefully later.

The Alfreton staff said they weren't recording it, although they do now HAVE to provide video highlights of Vanarama games. 
I don't know how local clubs survive. 142 there  last night and I still didn't win the 50/50 draw. ??‍♀️?

Certainly did. That was so exciting! 
We made subs at 5-2 down that worked. They made subs at the same time that disrupted their rhythm. 
Our penalties were great and Harry saved one of theirs. He had already made a string of fine saves in the first half. Hard to decide between him and hat-trick man, Kido Taylor-Hart for MOTM.
