Good minutes. The noose is tightening on the EFL and Boro/Wycombe. It is being made abundantly clear, but respectfully, that their spurious claims are the only thing holding back movement now. All the pressure now needs to be on the EFL, from MPs, media, fans, etc. Quantuma are doing a good job, and the scum who are abusing them and threatening them online should be exposed for what they are. Get the police involved.

I can't see how you can work that out,the administrators have received legal advice that says these claims have no merit but then say the EFL,Boro and WW have also received legal advice which maybe contrary to what they have received. None of the bidders are prepared to move forward until resolved, i don't think it has changed anything at present.

"We had complex discussions about complex issues, and we plan to have some more."

I was actually quite annoyed by the blithe statement that key issues were "well known". No, they really aren't. We know bits and pieces picked up from media leaks and partial statements. We are looking to the MPs to listen to both sides and clarify the details!

The key issues probably well known to those that matter, that doesn't mean to say we have to be informed what they are.

Once again Wayne Rooney standing head and shoulders above the Admins, EFL, Mel, local MPs, etc.

A clear and concise update, in fact best one I’ve heard from anyone for a few days.

Just going to focus on Sundays game now, looking forward to attending along with my youngest son.

    COYR.

I remember Rooney saying only a few weeks ago that he was expecting a number of players being signed in the next few days and we all know what happened then.

I think some of them are doing a really good job. At the moment they are, to some extent, in the same boat as us: not really clear on exactly what the problem is or who should be told to do what in order to find a solution. Hopefully they press for answers. Ideally we need them to be able to say: "Right I've spoken to all parties and understand all the issues now and what needs to happen is for the EFL to do X and Middlesbrough and Wycombe to do Y and the administrators to do Z." Once we've got that clarity it's a lot harder for people to finger-point, selectively brief journalists, and evade responsibility.

The respective parties are probably doing that and believe they are in the right, they are not going to suddenly change track because an MP has told them to do so.

It feels like we are where we were weeks ago.

EFL need to be more pragmatic in finding a resolution with Boro and Wycombe. Stop scapegoating Derby and get them off their high horse.

Administrators need to sort Mel out on the stadium.

Get actual figures in place of what money is owed where so bidders know what they are buying, it’s the same thing all along

It’s sh** or get off the toilet time!

One thing the administrators would have done foremost is getting actual figures in place of what money is owed and to who.

So it’s another transfer window where we have had any chance of incomings blocked. There’s a surprise ???

We still can’t re-register or extend contracts leaving us exposed.

As this passes into next month I am hoping this now mean we don’t have to sell anyone else until the next window ??‍♂️??

With a lot of players out of contract at the end of the season we won't have many to sell.

Hopefully the City Council will have a rep there, to talk about 'his' stadium?!

Wonder if he will hand a cheque over to them for the money they are owed to save the council tax payers of Derby City Council making up the shortfall.

So it’s being used to pay creditors . Which is what the admin team want. We don’t have any football creditors though do we apart from Arsenal and Lech and neither of them are in the Efl.

Only in the event of liquidation. We do have football creditors as that includes paying up the players contracts.

So a near sell out crowd on Sunday and that’s not going to bring in money? Plus Sky tv money too.

We don't get the Sky tv money, whilst the club is in administration, the money is retained by the EFL in the event of the club going into liquidation and is then used to pay off football creditors.

And what's going to raise more money for creditors - selling players for a fraction of the value that they've given them in their asset register, or retaining them to enhance the value of the club to secure a rescue deal?

Administration isn't about liquidating the company's assets - it's a balancing act designed to save the company whilst also maximising the returns to creditors taking all factors into consideration. Liquidation rarely, if ever, achieves more for creditors than a CVA, or even a restructuring deal, so as long as there are interested parties, the Administrators are justified in not reducing the club to uncompetitive rump.

How many are available to leave on a free in the summer? The administrators cannot reduce the club to a state to any less that it already is

  11. 1 minute ago, Crewton said:

Any money raised by selling players now is unlikely to go anywhere near creditors. It'll be used to keep the club going whilst a Preferred Bidder is selected or, ultimately, ensure the Administrators get their fees on liquidation. So creditors and opposition clubs clamouring for the club to sell players for the benefit of creditors are either misguided or disingenuous.

The administrators role is to get money for the creditors ,if that means selling players then they sell,it is not in their remit to use such money to keep the club going until/if a PB is selected, they are heavily regulated as to their responsibilities and actions.

  12. 1 hour ago, PistoldPete said:

I don't agree on either front. A lower bid for the club means creditors get less.  None of the unsecured creditors wil get anything until we come out of admin. And if we accept low ball offers now for players w m ay never come out of admin because the poetntial buyers of the club will have nothing worth buying.

At this moment in time,if i were a creditor i would be pushing the administrators as to why players haven't been sold while they have the chance, there is no guarantee of more money in the future. As for never coming out of administration EFL rules clearly state "no club is allowed to remain in administration for Two consecutive seasons"

they will leave in this window i guess if its confirmed another month of this madness!

funny how we are receiving crap derogatory bids from some on the EFL board ...eg the Gumps

Surely if the PB/takeover is unclear the administrators will be looking at selling players in the remaining days of the transfer window rather than let them leave on a free at the end of the season. That will ensure more money for the creditors
