And those caged up in prisons who are months behind the outside in terms of everything. Not that most would care about the violence and self-harm apart from those who work in those environments. 
Another few crucial summer months lost for wedding venues, hospitality, nightclubs, pubs wanting a big football crowd in etc etc. The economy needs this summer. Then add in cinemas and theatres that are hanging on. 
I just haven't got the time for people who think people only moan because they want to go on holiday. 

I’m truly fed up! Even more so with rumours that Portugal could be removed from the travel Greenlist. I was already fed up worrying about coordinating the rip-off tests we need. What is the point of all the lockdowns, vaccinations, testing, social distancing etc if there’s never going to be trust and faith in evolution. Whilst I can see some rationale in the overall thinking, there must be a point where we break the circle of continuous fear and crack on with life. If not, what’s the point of life? 
 
Those of you that know me (cyber wise), know that i work hard and do so knowing that I’ve got something to look forward to, whether it be a holiday or a Butlins weekend with the boys. 
 
Like most, I’ve missed out on, or sacrificed a lot over the last 15 months or so. I am past the point of feeling selfish now cos I cannot see justification for the control and potential restriction. 
 
aside of potentially missing out on a holiday, as none of us would be able to quarantine, I think I’d lose all the money too. 

Personally I think there are a lot (and I mean a lot!) of people in this country who feel as though they don't have a voice and are being fed a constant diet of things they may or may not agree with. 
As mentioned in previous posts, if GB News can remain impartial and give airtime to the sides of the argument that the BBC and Sky ignore they potentially have a very large audience - that unlike the twitter narrative of being 'hard right' could more likely be the center left working class voter that feel abandoned by Labour. 
Not so much altruistic, more spotting an untapped market.

Interesting, I watched that and never saw anybody deny COVID with tin hat conspiracy theories, I did though find it refreshing to see the response to this virus questioned ?‍♂️, it’s pretty plain you and I don’t agree on a lot off stuff but surely at this point you are able to move beyond labelling any mental stray form the official line a conspiracy, I’m assuming ( rightly or wrongly ) that you have had a decent standard of education so find it strange you appear to want independent thinking suppressed ?‍♂️

Watched a bit on youtube of that Wooton guy talking about Covid. Felt very conspiracy nut rubbish, just ranting.
I thought Andrew Neil was usually pretty good on the BBC and is better than this. Maybe he just thinks he can make some big money quick.
I also read about when Sugar asked how they would make revenue without adverts. I guess a lot of companies will see if it does become toxic before risking adverts on there.

To be fair the one person who reported most of the political posts has left, so I'm a bit more inclined to let the conversation continue. I tend to remove argumentative stuff, or the posts that get personal about other forum posters.

I'm completely unaware how you have actually managed to back Government policy on so many occasions yet at the same time tell everyone what an awful job they are doing.

It feels that comments on politics in general can be acceptable, like @Van der MoodHoovers sensible last post for example.
Boring generalisations like Islington dinner parties should be removed for being satire free.

Covid jabs will be unofficially mandated ,policed by the scared witless of dying or law suits or lack of business, people have in the main lost all grasp of sense and logic , I’m watching people walking around wide open spaces on a beautiful day wearing masks ffs ,
just listened ( on radio) to people arguing weather we need to pour covid vaccine programmes into poor African countries , the median age in Africa is aprox 20 and the death toll from covid for the whole of African continent is I believe 85,000 whilst malaria ( treatable) kills 400000 per year there ,hiv kills 300000 per year there , tb kills many ,
