I've just watched his goals from last season, are people really saying we shouldn't be signing a player like this? 

Decent pace, playing off the shoulder, different to what we have already, genuinely two footed so a threat inside and out....

Ffs he's only 29, and has clearly improved as he's got his prime years the last couple of seasons...

Jesus, we're a league one side, who are you expecting us to sign that's going to be better than a 20 goal, in the same league, striker?

Wycombe started 40 if their 46 games with older squads and still reached the Playoff Final. Sheff Weds also named a lot of old match day squads yet finished 4th.

Crewe, Wimbledon and Doncaster used the 3 youngest squads in the league... and all finished in the bottom 3. Fleetwood with another young squad finished just 19th.

I dont understand why you can't see we're building a balanced squad.

That seems like a bloody good first 11 for League 1 to me, would expect us to be in and around autos with that team 

The depth may be the issue but a few youngsters breaking through like Ibrahim, Clarke and MGP and we might be ok 

Tbf I would have been happy us signing him in the championship so to get him in League One is great! Always been impressed whenever we've played PNE

Both of these are iconic, but that kappa kit with the gold letters and numbers was Epic, would love something like that again

Winds me up every year when folks say there's more important things ... Of course there is but we can't control any of it nor will idle speculation change anything.

We do need to have a shirt to play in for the first game in 4 weeks so pondering about it isn't gonna hurt anyone jeez 

Anyone heard anything more on this? I've seen a mock up of a grey green away kit which I thought looked very smart!

I think it's fairly nailed on now that Rooney was heavily involved with Kirchner and having Cook and Stretford as part of the team, pretty devastated as I really thought he would lead us back up and had started to play good football.

That being said, it really is a clean slate now, suspect that may well be why Rosenior needed to talk to him before going to Blackpool, fully expect him to be new manager with maybe Curtis as assistant? 

I know we will still be a relatively big fish in L1 but that surely will lessen our chances of attracting a higher calibre of players.

Usual time for the kit merry go round, saw a decent mock up of a couple of Twitter 

Anyone heard anything? I know the order went in late but what would folks like to see? 

I liked the blue on the home strip this year but would like a proper tribute yellow/blue/red away kit and maybe one like the back with white and blue pinstripes mock up we saw last year?
