Dean (hick) Saunders reacted to FlyBritishMidland in The Administration Thread
I suspect this may have on item on the agenda anyway. And I think the administrators were asked to provide proof funds we could complete the season when they were appointed in the event a sale didn’t go through before the end of the season.
He says Ashley is considering a bid, so in his view means it’s not yet in. You could then draw the conclusion that it’s the Appleby, Rush & Moxey triumvirate who are the PB. As Moxey is on the EFL Committee, all have experience of running a football club do we really think this would be an issue?
He also states that the ‘Boro and Wycombe issues are a stumbling block, which the administrators have confirmed it isn’t.
A regurgitation of old stuff issued at a time to make it looks like it’s new and “exclusive”. And if it really did come out of the meeting things like that are usually preceded with the phrase “a source close to the EFL said……”.
Rant over ?!!

It's nothing new or surprising.
The club is in insolvency and wants to sign players and extensions - being asked "and can you pay for that?" Before the EFL agree to the contract is in line with their process for insovant clubs - and DCFC and the administrators know that.

Good move all round. Good luck Marshy. I thought we'd got a cracker there, but in the end, just another Championship GK.

In the absence of a Labour government, the only alternative is (pick one):
Sunak Truss Gove Hunt Javid Patel Would you describe any of that bunch as viable in any way, shape or form?
Personally, I hope against hope for tactical voting resulting in a 'hung' parliament next - and every subsequent - time. I am utterly sick to death with vested interests dictating policies - seeking the 'middle' ground based upon co-operation and discussion is surely better than the polarised bullcrap we have been subjected to for the 69 (dude) years I've been on this planet.

There is no rule in place that says a club must pay a loan fee and wages for loan players. Its a deal between the 2 clubs and doesn't involve anyone else. If Liverpool wanted to loan us salah for free and pay his whole wages then its their choice.
Look at the deal fulham got harry wilson for.

Controversial.
Expect that Davies is not fit enough to play 90 up front. A lot more distance to run at high pace than centre back.

He doesn't need to run. We can just let him stay in their box and goal hang.

Can we clone Davies and play him in all the positions.

101 pages.
Does this mean that George Thorne is the preferred bidder?

After this season and our punishment has had an effect I fully expect the EFL to temporarily abandon FFP and point deductions to suit other clubs as there will be plenty of them in the actual poo - just watch this happen !

Dean (hick) Saunders reacted to Ghost of Clough in Season 21 - 22 survival bid statistics
I posted this prior to the additional points deduction so figured I'd update it.
9 wins, 7 draws and 5 losses would take us to 45 points. This is the equivalent to us maintaining our form over the past 9 games (4W, 3D, 2L) for the rest of the season.
During that good run, we've had to deal with matches being postponed, players missing due to Covid and experienced players being injured. With players still to return to fitness and others from injury, the youngsters continuing to improve and us looking likely to sign players, I see no reason why we cannot do it! ?

Charlotte Ram is right and this information is already in the public domain, you might have thought that any Journalist worth his salt might have done a little research before publishing stories about Mel and the ground being an issue. Ask yourself, bearing in mind my previous posts, if you were in Mels shoes what would you want to do with ground?
In my expirence people tend to act in their own self interest.
Owning a football ground with no football team to play in it must very frightening prospect, I wonder what such an event would do the the value of the ground, who would want it.

I guess they are only getting their “leaks” from one side of the story. Probably don’t have an anti Derby agenda (like Daily Mail used to). They are probably messaging the administrators same as DET and RD are but getting the same result.
Not that I think it would do any good, but probably the journalists will need to go and camp out on admins offices hoping to stick a notebook/microphone in their face if they decide they MUST have some kind of response.
We (fans and journalists alike) all need to wait until they want to talk to us I guess.
