I'll welcome Ashley if he gets the club but f*** me, he's annoying!
I'm sick to death of his game playing, he's clearly an intelligent business man so surely he understands that just continually telling everyone that he has £50m 'waiting' to complete the takeover, does not get the job done. He is a multi-billionaire so of course he has that kind of money sitting about, but unless he puts that down on the table he just looks like a buffer.
If he wants to buy the club, and if he wants it in anything other than a desolate state, walk into Quantumas office tomorrow, slap £10m on the table and tell them that they can have the other £40m next week if they just give him the go ahead.
OK that's over simplified but my point is, IF YOU WANT THE f****** CLUB, JUST BUY IT!

If any new loans are secured against the stadium, and I have no idea if that is the case, then it's in Mel Morris' interest to keep allowing further borrowing because he will be the biggest loser if we are liquidated.
Should we therefore expect an assurance that MSD will fund our continuing participation for the forthcoming season, as this gives Morris 9 more months to get something done.
If a deal gets done before March, then everybody gets paid. If we get liquidated, MSD get the stadium and Morris comes away with nothing but it's a risk worth taking for him.
Unfortunately Morris has proven that he is a money fan first and a Derby fan second so I can see this running for a while longer yet.

I think that it's vitally important at this time that Derby fans focus on who the bad guys are in this situation.
Almost from the start of administrations the EFL have been an 'enemy'. For them to start posturing and grandstanding now is a complete insult in my opinion, and no Rams fan should be under any illusion that their current 'concern' for our welfare is completely disingenuous, they couldn't give a f***, their only concern is for their own future and the torrent of criticism that will come their way if we go out of business.
Add to that the way Quantuma have conducted this administration, and Rams fans have been abandoned on all sides.
We are in a position where rich men on all sides of our current predicament are happy to lie and leak stories to the media as long as it furthers their cause.
I'm surprised by how much fighting there is on this forum, as in my opinion we have to stick together, nobody else is going to fight for us, be sure of that.
