DCFC Kicks got a reaction from Adslegend in Warne Out Out
Everyone banging on about a possible lack of transfer budget as an excuse for our performances - We just deservedly lost to a club whose entire squad value is around £4m, and who haven't actually spent a fee on a player for almost 10 years.

has warne ever changed his tactics since he's been here? It's just cross it in until something falls for you every game

Depends if you regard 'passing it to him so he can run a bit then cross it' as an offensive tactic or not.

Without Mendez-Laing I'm not sure Warne knows what to do offensively. This is what happens when you play so one-dimensionally - if a player is missing or the opposition figure out how to counter it, that's it. It's just embarrassing that its Crewe who've worked out how to counter it.

So the running round a lot and cross it in over and over hasn't worked again,
Warne shifts to the only other tactic he knows, gung ho.

they actually have the ball over 60% of the time though so it makes it a lot easier for them.
Warne seems to like not having the ball and for his players to just run all game chasing it

why does our entire game hinge on running round a lot though...

DCFC Kicks reacted to angieram in B4 - for ever a Ram 🐏
I have some very sad news this evening. Daniel (B4) died earlier this week. He was just 38.
As you know, he has been battling numerous health conditions for a long time, but always remained cheerful and was the most loyal supporter of his beloved Rams, home and away.
He was at the match at Crewe and gave his full support as always.
Daniel leaves behind a grieving dad, mum and sister. Our thoughts go out to them and we only hope they get a little comfort from knowing how well loved Daniel is by all who know him.
Here are a couple of photos that his dad agreed could be shared. I'm sure many of you have others, as Daniel loved a selfie at the game.
David is hoping to arrange a more fitting tribute in time, but for now please raise a glass in his memory and a good Derby win today. I am sure that's what Daniel would have been doing tonight.

not high enough that Bristol Rovers can't afford him...

Scored again tonight. I know his wages are probably high, but why didn't we just sign 1 or 2 good strikers like him instead of 4 average ones

salah never plays on the left.
Yes they both attack down the wings, but they don't just relentlessly cross it in as soon as they get in the final 3rd. They both very rarely if at all just aimlessly cross it in the box in the hope that eventually one will fall for you. Both clubs have so many more attacking patterns of play too. We are nothing like either of them.
