DCFC Kicks reacted to May Contain Nuts in What would McClaren do with this team?
I think he'd have got more out of Bird, Sibley, Knight, Roberts & Jozwiak but I suppose the next question would be at what cost?

Change the question to "What would have McClaren done with this team?"
Does anyone actually think we'd be worse off if we had just hired Mac as manager instead of Rooney? I don't.
He probably would have been cheaper and only signed until the end of season unlike Wayne's 2 year deal, we had an instant boost the last 2 times he first joined which I think would have been enough to avoid relegation.
The only reason we probably went for Rooney was either because Mel didn't want to pay Rooney's playing contract any longer, or Mel had too much pride to hire Mac for a third time.
What is Mac even doing at the moment? The current terrible playing style suggests he's having little involvement with tactics.

As a general rule, you should be wary of anybody who actively wants to own a football club as they are money sinks and make precisely nobody any money. Anyone who actively wants to be in that business has a screw loose.

Teams like Norwich and Watford are lucky they've been able to hold onto players like Buendia, Cantwell and Sarr. Any other season prem clubs would have bought them.

Let’s face it with a midfield of shinnie and knight and bird we are never going to be top 6 let alone too 10. None are good enough with the ball but good enough without the ball. That’s the difference and jozwiak in Derby’s team never has options further forward no one runs from midfield. So when he has the ball all he has to aim for is ckr or he has to go back. Look back at games where he has the ball he either has to take 3 guys on or pass backwards

I'm not against Roos keeping his place at the moment as i think he has improved a lot this year. However, Marshall overall has more ability. Could perhaps be a little shaky for Scotland last night as he's not really played for around a month

I don't know. We'll just not play for a few weeks and use the Rotherham method of end of season break and see how many points we need to get after everyone's played 5 more matches than us.

So pleased for Kamil tonight, A goal, an assist, and played a big part in the 3rd goal as well.
To all the DCFC fans that have been doubting him, this is what he is capable of when the team plays attacking football.

As soon as he got on the pass, 3 players had already closed him down so he couldn't shoot. The next best thing was to pull the ball back for a team mate which he tried to do. Unfortunately CKR just stood still on the edge of the area and Roberts ran and stood behind Waghorn, meaning that a difficult pass into Waghorn who also had 2 defenders on him, was Jozwiak's only real option anyway.
Jozwiak is not the problem, he's part of the solution.

better than the reigning European player of the year Lewandowski, he must be decent then.

Jozwiak showing what he can do when he's not surrounded by jobbers and stuck in a formation that makes it incredibly difficult to play in the opposition half.

Possibly world football's leading poohouse. I once heard him described as "if you're within 10 feet of him, he's trying to hurt you, and if you're further away, he's thinking about it."
Would probably be good even if he's getting on a bit. Probably wouldn't like championship referees though, you don't get a Real exemption.

One of Cocu's few positives when he was here was that he definitely improved the academy players. I don't think it's a coincidence that since he's left , Sibley and Bird have struggled. You could say Knight's form has possibly slipped a bit recently. Having said that, I don't know how Waghorn is starting over Sibley. Waghorn's offered almost nothing in recent weeks apart from the occasional set piece.
