  1. I cannot see how the original tribunal could have deemed to have got it so wrong.

If suddenly were going from having not even a fine imposed against us to now on appeal people taking about fines and 'large' points deductions

    What's changed so drastically ?

New evidence ? New witnesses ?, Rule changes ? If so surely there should be a complete NEW tribunal hearing starting at beginning not an appeal of a decision already reached.

  2. Poor old Erik his chances of getting a cut price bargain just went up in smoke on Saturday.

We'll see now if he's really serious the season over, were a championship side.

So let's see the colour of his money and get this done if not move aside and let someone else make an offer.

I am sure they said on SKY the appeal related to the lesser charge and a points deduction would be very unlikely.....if they win the appeal hope it will be just a fine...a small one....

Since were skint perhaps we could offer them a player in exchange  ?

Kudos to both of you, and all other fans going. Can you move around in a random pattern to make it look like there's more of us? ?

If we run a round like crazy mad men waving our arms in the air and shouting "Come on Derby" at the tops of voices we may even be able to imitate a half decent crowd effect.

    Is could prove inspirational ?

    No booing allowed though.

  5. For first time I am not going to predict anything.

I will leaving things to the "gods of FATE".

The consequence of a 'unfavorable' afternoon are too disastrous to contemplate.

We could be sent into the abyss for years.

Currently, we very poor on pitch, financially troubled off it, set to lose players, in the mist of a long drawn out messy takeover seemly with no light at the end of the tunnel.

Come on lads, we would all want to be with you in ground helping and cheering you on.

Can you not summon up one triumph effort for own self respect, for club who's shirt you wear and for thousands of fans who are still with you in sprite if not body.

Go out there and show them 'WE ARE Derby'

  6. Realistically at present who would want to come ?

    1. Club for sale,

    2. In serious financial problems

    3. Appear leaderless both on and off the pitch

    4.  Set to lose a good proportion of experience the playing staff out of contract,

    5. A possibility of relegation,

    6. Maybe a points deduction for breaking EFL rules next season

and that just what we know about.

    Doesn't sound very inviting ?

So basically you're saying, we just need a draw at home to Reading - a team with nothing to play for - and we make the playoffs?

Sweet, what could be easier than that?

    Uh ?

So forget about the threat of relegation

so what you are saying is we could end up stuck in a league with no chance of getting promoted from it......... with falling gates, loss of income, regularly selling our best players for peanuts, promising youngsters leaving our academy, no investment in the ground or facilities and living hand to mouth on old dreams of what could and maybe should have been....drifting along from one manager to another hoping for success..........

phew.....glad that's not exactly what is happening now eh or that would be miserable.....

At this particular moment its is only a possibility that it could happen, NOT a certainty.

I am sure every Derby fan does NOT want it to happen.

    Things are now really bad.

Worst squad we've had for a very long time.

Newbie manager who seems to be having little impact.

    One failed takeover after another.

I was afraid of us being relegated but I'm now starting to see that there could be a positive side to it.

Chance to regroup. Clear the decks. Review the management team - at the very least. Thank the players out of contract or not pulling their weight.

Build a team around the quality youngsters. Establish a way of playing. Win a few games, heck score a few goals even.

Forget Sunderland and Portsmouth, there are enough examples of teams that have dropped down and come back much stronger..... Southampton, the Dirties, Leicester, and this season: Hull.

Heck even Derby in the 80s - thanks to Arthur Cox. And for those of us who lived through it, it was a lot of fun, a damn sight more than we're having at the moment.

So, it may not be such a bad thing.

The counter argument is that we won't find a buyer, Mel will pull the plug in terms of cash and we'll go into Administration and sink further into the mire.

Being relegated for a team is the worst thing that can happen to it.

No club has got a God given right to be promoted.

We could end up like Sunderland and Portsmouth stuck in League 1 for years.

With falling gates, loss of income, regularly selling our better players for peanuts to stay afloat.

Promising youngsters not joining the academy.

No investment in the ground or facilities.

I club living hand to mouth on old dreams on things what could and maybe what should have been .

Drifting along from one manager to another hoping for success but planning against failure.

No we don't want to go down.

  10. More 'Paella' in the sky.

We seem to have a magnetic attraction for near do well's, carpetbaggers, penniless sheikh's, pie in the sky dreamers, would, could be millionaires.

While time waits for no man and slow ticks by and we slide back into the mire metaphorically both down the table and financially.

Things are becoming more and more dire. Are we doomed to cast out into the wilderness of League 1.

So will 'who' be our savior, our knight in shinning  armour. Uncle Mel, Rooney, some mystery benefactor.

No I say it is thousands upon thousand of fans everywhere who live and breathe Derby

Keep the faith I say it can move mountains and sometimes even gain league points.

Where is there is hope there is a chance !

£71m for a capacity of 17k...makes £81m for 34k seem like good value

Remember as well were talking about an "up market place", "to be" "going place area" like  "Chadd Siddings"

Not a run down are of area called Brentford.

Its like comparing chalk and mouldy cheese

I think the worry is that on paper they have by far the easiest run in, a lot of winnable home games...

Thank goodness then, that football games are not played on paper otherwise we would probably have been just about been doomed already.
