Let’s call it an educated assumption. And how do you know he chose them over us?

No he hasn’t gone there ‘over us’ at all, as we weren’t interested in Stockton

I think we can see where our shortcomings have come this season? An inability to pick up points against the top half sides under Paul Warne has cost us.Is that down to poor management? A lack of belief by the players?
It’s something we must rectify next season.
Hi Liam!!

Largely agree with all of the above, but would add a special mention for the high quality of opposition time wasting we’ve seen this season. Can’t recall it ever being at the current s-housing levels before now, it’s insane.

Yeah, they didn’t limit the numbers on the parking app, so too many cars booked spaces and ended up parking on verges and the grass.
Ah is that why? I’d assumed there’d been some bother (there was some aggro near Costco after the Bolton game if I recall) - seems odd that they can’t or won’t set a limit as it’s an easy earner for them you’d think 🤷♂️

I use the 'myparkingspace' website to pre-book a spot either at the Premier Inn, Derby East on - I think it's called - Wyvern Industrial Estate, or at Wickes on London Road. The latter having the not inconsiderable benefit of a fantastic chippy on the way back through towards home.
Both cost around £5.50 including the booking charge.
Premier Inn stopped match day parking a few months ago (think the Bolton game was the last one)

It's Didzy, but I'm a bit surprised by the lack of love for NML. Not only does he (allegedly) have a massive wang, but he has been our most creative player not named Didzy by a mile. Even when he's forced to play further back, he's still been a major threat.
I think up to January he was well in the conversation. But his form has dropped off a lot this last few months - hopefully yesterday was a sign of things to come for the remainder of the season.
-
1. McGoldrick by a mile
2. Wildsmith
3. Tough one, but I'd probably plump for Korey Smith - been so consistent, especially playing out of his preferred position for the majority. An unsung hero I reckon.

Mengi and Baningime most certainly were crap. None would have got in our starting 11 if not for injuries. If Davies was fit, it would have been Davies and Clarke starting every game at CM. Roberts was 4th choice winger behind Lawrence, Waghorn and Jozwiak. Gregory was mostly backup CF to either Kazim or Waghorn.
Edmudson, Roberts and Gregory would still get in our squad but only one of them would be a starter (and only in certain formations). I wouldn't have Edmundson in ahead of Cashin or Forsyth the way they've been playing this season. There's no chance Roberts gets in ahead of Mendez-Laing. You'd have to be an idiot to think Gregory would start ahead of McGoldrick, and it's 50:50 as to whether he starts instead of Collins if playing 2 up front.
I'll give you Baningime (we barely saw him, but perhaps for good reason), however Mengi was more than decent - just very injury prone unfortunately. He is streets ahead of Edmunson, for example.

Wildsmith 7.5 - excellent saves at vital times, and improveddistribution. Might be harsh but thought he could've done better with the goal (he got a hand to it)
Chester 6.5 - solid debut but clearly a centre back playing at full back. Was partly at fault for the goal
Knight 6.5 - decent enough game, and the midfield felt like it functioned better with him in it
Roberts 7 - thought he played well was unlucky to be subbed off, but alls well that ends well.
Cashin 7 - good solid game, although should have shown the Wycombe scorer outside for the goal. Got forward well, great cross that caused havoc for the 2nd goal. Extra half point for his celebration.
Davies 6 - looked a bit rusty still, and partly at fault for the goal. Awful square pass in the 2nd half nearly led to another goal against.
McGoldrick 7.5- a class above again, but not best as a lone striker. Seems to have all the time in the world.
Sibley 6.5 - tried to make things happen and a threat on occasions. Needs to move things along a bit quicker at times.
Hourihane 7.5 - Awful in the 1st half, but redeemed himself in the 2nd.
Mendez-Laing 7.5 - Excellent when he came on, and made a huge difference
Bird 6 - don't think he had as bad a game as some seem to think, but there's clearly a lack of dovetailing with Hourihane that needs to be resolved somehow.
Collins 7 - along with NML, made a big impact when he came on. That left foot cross field ball was a thing of beauty.
Barkhuizen 6.5 - battled hard for the team in a deeper role, but no major impact going forward.
Forsyth 6 - no time to make an impact
Thompson 6 - see Fozzy

An earlier comment of mine appears to have been removed, I assume for calling out some ludicrously knee jerk reactions. Anyway I’ll try again for what it’s worth ……
Our season won’t be defined by this result, or even a couple more disappointing results - which will undoubtedly come. There’ll be ups and down throughout the season and we need to remember where we were a few weeks ago, and how quickly we are trying to turn things around with a new manager & new players.

He is indicating that he’s come in as 3rd choice so might be another keeper on the way

Smart move I reckon, similar role to the one Huddlestone plays for Man Utd
