That's way to low
I said £5 million and upwards and I am not sure how that can be too low?

Just stating the obvious - he is doing very well as is knight as we all know so we would have been expecting bids either publicly or privately

It was always like playing with 10 men. I used to get that "why has he picked Bennett for the play-off final?" style feeling in my stomach every time he 'played'.
Just checked out his wiki page - allegedly only played 18 times for us yet it left a huge black hole of disappointment and resentment that's never fully healed.
Wiki page is worth a read - it cheered me up.
The worse thing was that the club was admitting they couldn’t get anything better than him and he cost money - you knew we were going to struggle massively to score goals

He lives in Smalley, so this would suit him.
It didn’t suit him in the summer when he could have moved here !
anyway how come he can’t get near getting a game at Stoke city who are looking like relegation candidates
-
We would be a bit silly to accept a low ball offer for lots of reasons already mentioned
we can’t spend any money, we can’t replace his youth in defence, he’s worth a lot more to us than the price of a sale.
Biggest issues - does he want to go to Norwich- I doubt it - does he want to be paid more money - I am sure he does - do we need more money to pay Arsenal and the polish club who we owe money to - probably.
I value him at £5 million and upwards - sure we can replace him with what we have got this season but next season we have replace him and we can’t spend money? - Norwich can buy Belick if they want

Another goal after coming on tonight.
Good we might need him later in the season

Birmingham have got more games out of him than we seemed to do ?

It’s hard to catch teams when there are so many poor sides in the third division because the better sides will struggle not to win
we are trying to catch teams with two ageing centre forwards in Collins and McGoldrick - they have done well considering we had five players under contract in August and with all our imposed restrictions
-
How big is the list of contracted players that they want to get rid off ( obviously most will be sold to the Greek club to re invent money)

We've already got one of these in Collins. A forward with pace as an option please.
You know the realities - where are they - that cost us nothing more than an average wage - running quickly is nice - doing it with the football and scoring goals means you play in the premiership
-
If Everton successfully manage to get relegated I assume they will be utterly shafted if they pay for the new stadium as well - I assume they will do a Leicester to avoid paying for the new ground?

There are ways for the agent to get his money just not directly from the club. I have said before I knew someone at Birmingham when they were under embargo and was told there were people at the EFL actively telling them how to circumvent the rules of it.
Yes that was Harvey at the EFL who told us we were fine with out amortisation
It’s Parry now and he shafted us and I wouldn’t give him the chance to do it again

We have good a chance as any one else.
If it was based on loan fees and full wages we don’t not to mention an agent getting paid - yet we are Derby county so I expect him to sign
-
Bird and Hourihane in central midfield = pretty naff
add Jason Knight = they start to look better players
-
To be honest we need another forward who knows what the job means so it ticks the boxes - sure he could move to the championship and maybe get a game and be paid more probably but at Derby county there are people in the football ground and chances to score goals in a side looking forwards not over their shoulder

I always thought that Hugill was a decent forward unless you wanted him to score goals! His effort and workrate are beyond question, but in my opinion, he needs 10 chances to score a goal.
We already have a couple of those but if Warne is confident that he could coach him to score 1 in every 3 or 4 chances then we'd have a top notch striker.
The same has always been said of McGoldrick To be fair

That game next week is HUGE.
Always got to back us playing at home though!
I’d back us in every game and especially in the third division!

Glorious three points - they have a very decent home record

Well it’s a penalty when the Ref gives a penalty - I read your comment and started to get overly optimistic to be quickly dashed

It does seem a monumental reckless gamble but fair play to the owners for trying but if the money wasn’t tainted it would be feel better maybe. Fulham and the dogs have certainly got the likes of Everton, Southampton and West Ham very worried which is rather funny.
if they do go down - oh Dear but obviously they would have won the league by November in their eyes even the ones with three of them
