That's our season done then. When he's not getting it done Derby don't get it done.

You must be new to this Derby County thing, then. This isn't a one off. This happens every single time. Every time we have a chance to move forwards and leave our opponents trailing in our dust, we get the brush and dustpan out, sweep up the dust and give the clubs behind us a tow. As many of us have said, we should be sitting in first place with 5, 6 or more points clear, because the players we have, used properly, are well capable of that. But Warne has contrived to make us set up to be scared of a team that has lost loads of matches and conceded loads of goals. 
In his pre-match presser he was talking about having to defend for our live for goodness sake.  This is talking about a team that loses for fun, and lets goals in like they are on piece-rate for goals conceded. And no, we didn't even look like bundling the ball over the line.
We were summed up by Hourihane, right near the ned of the match, when he intercepted the ball in the centre circle, with everyone back for Northampton. H sent his pass towards Nelson, who was 5 yards away, but he put the ball 10 yards behind Nelson! What was Hourihane even doing on the pitch at the kick off, let alone right near the end?

Well that’s a disaster - no other word for it 

Well maybe the reaction wouldn't be so severe if we had a manager capable of adapting to the issues presented to him. He got it badly wrong today, and not for the first time this season. Once or twice can be written off as a bad day, but this happens far too often with Warne.

I don't understand why he didn't throw one of the centre-backs up front. But there's lots about Warne's football that seems inexplicable. The only good to come out of today is Bradley getting sent off.

Needs improvement

I would tend to keep our best players on the pitch assuming that they weren’t injured 

To be in pole position means that YOU HAVE TO BE IN FIRST PLACE. We could be, and should be, given what our players are capable of, but we aren't because of how they are being forced to play. And after nearly looking like we were playing football, and getting the resultant good run, we revert to HOOF IT, And it still doesn't work.

A wasted game in all respects

Maybe if we had used what little money we had to attract a quality striker in Jan rather than waste it on ‘our first choice target’ who was supposed to be the fillip to push us on but can’t get in the side….

Has the bobblehatted genius spoken his wise words of wisdom to explain that horror show yet? 

We now likely have to beat Portsmouth to go up. Our chances of promotion have taken a huge dent.
One of Bolton, Peterborough or Barnsley will win all their remaining games. We now have to win all of ours. To lose that game today, with the chance to go 7 points clear, can be described as nothing else than bottling it.

We’ve just handed momentum back to our rivals though. Awful. 
 
7 points ahead vs 1 point ahead (they’ll add on the 3 points for a game in hand when looking at the league) is such a blow for us psychologically. 

He does set the team out and give them instructions - we did have a lot of reserves playing but so did Northampton 
Why do we always need to change shape because it isn’t working no matter who is selected - the Northampton players wanted to win more with in my opinion poorer players available

It wouldn't be half as bad if it wasn't so utterly predictable. Open up a 7-point gap to 3rd? f*** that, let's phone it in and keep things interesting instead. Every f****** time. 
Mentally weak, and tactically clueless is not a great combination.
