I don't think it matters how many home games you have, there is no fans in the stadiums. The next 7 days holds the key to where the Rams might be. Looking at the current table, the bottom 7 teams are trying to avoid the drop. I could be wrong, but Blackburn and above look safe to me. On Tuesday Sheff Wed play their game in hand over us, which is home to Swansea (They need to win it to close the gap to 5pts on us). The same night Huddersfield play Bournemouth, thats their game in hand over us. Rotherham play QPR, who just spanked Wednesday. Then on Thursday, Rotherham play another of their games in hand against Coventry (draw would be the best result for us). That game will be Coventry's game in hand over us.
So we go into next weekends fixtures with Birmingham, Derby, Huddersfield, Coventry, Sheff Wed and Wycombe all having played 41 league games. Rotherham will have only 2 games in hand, so the picture will become clearer. The weekend fixture are; Swansea v Wycombe, Sheff Wed v Bristol, Rotherham v Birmingham, Forest V Huddersfield, Coventry v Barnsley and Blackburn V Rams.
I would like to point out some factors, 4 of the bottom 7 would have played a mid-week game (Rotherham would have played 2). Only Wycombe, Birmingham and the Rams will have a longer recovery time. Some are up against teams still chasing promotion, some are playing each other in the relegation battle over the next 7 days. Some fans are worried about Rotherham (the only team in the bottom 7 with a better goal diff than us). IF, they manage to win their next 3 games against QPR, Coventry and Birmingham, that would mean 2 of them teams would be still in the mix with them and us. Then Rotherham have a midweek match against M'Boro followed by Barnsley and Brentford who all happen to be in the current top 10 of the table. Rotherham's record against the current top 10 is just one win.
I will stick with my predictions of Wycombe, Sheff wed, and Rothertham getting relegated. Even with Wednesday's 6 point deduction at the begining of the season would still put them in a relegation position if it was rescinded.

When there's less than 6 games left to play, I don't think you can take home form into the battle of survival. Its all about who you still have to play, Whether it be teams around you or teams at the top still chasing promotion, or even teams in the middle of the table.  Sheff Wed have only 18 points to win and have an 8 point gap to close on us, plus the goal diff. Barring the Swansea game, most of their matches could be winnable but they have not much better form than Derby in their last 5 games. Rotherham have a 7 point gap to close on the Rams but have Coventry and Birmingham also fighting for survival and they still have 4 teams to play from the top 10 of  the table, where they have only registered one win all season.

You are right I did get my Maths wrong, If that did work out we would be playing Sheff Weds on the last game of the season both sitting on the same points(who would have the better goal diff is not so easy to predict). Personally I don't think we will going into that May 8th fixture with the worry of having to win it, to stay in the championship.

So Rotherham who have won 2 and lost 8 in their last 10 matches are suddenly going to hit some form. They have managed to lose 21 games in only 36 matches, only Wycombe have lost more, that being 23 and they've done that over 40 games. Rotherham, with one of the smallest squads in the Championship have 10 matches to play in 28 days (Thats going to take it's toll). Likewise Sheff Weds have lost 7 drawn 1 and won just 2 in their last 10 games (they also would need to find some form). How you come to the conculsion that Hudderfield, Coventry and Birmingham are on par with us. All three have worse goal differences and two have a point less.
Compare our last 10 matches, we have lost 5, drawn 3 and won 2 (thats more points gained than Rotherham & Weds in the last 10 games). Currently, its points in the bag, having a better goal diff and less than a month the season is over.  If Rotherham perform the miracle and win 2, draw 2 of their games in hand, then also better Derby in their other games. Please come back on here and remind me and state you told me so. I'm sticking with Wycombe, Rotherham and Sheff Weds to be relegated.

Currently there is 6 teams below us in the table and none of them can better our goal difference. Its all about points in the bag and not, we have games in hand (you've got to win or draw them them to gain points). I will sleep well tonight. Thank you Norwich for using up all your ammo in tonights game. See you on Saturday when you could be facing your 1st opponents that take 6 points off you this season.

Too many IF's for me. If teams win their games in hand. If Rotherham go on a run. If Sheff Wed go on a run. If 3 teams below us, finish above us at the end of the season. If Derby lose all 6 matches they have left to play.
We are staying up......................................................................IF we get more points than just 3 teams in the Championship.

Its all about points in the bag at this stage of the season. Games in hand are good to have providing you've got some good form or able to find some form. Its easy to look at the table and state Rotherham and others have games in hand, They've got to win them. The key date will be Tuesday the 13th (unlucky for some) Hudderfield who have 2 games in hand over the Rams, play Bournemouth that night. Sheff Weds who have 1 game in hand over the Rams, play that game against Swansea. Meanwhile (Covid card tricks) Rotherham play 1 of their 4 games in against QPR.
Key games up to the end of the season are Hudderfield v Rotherham this Saturday. Other matches Huddersfield v Coventry, Birmingham v Rams, Rotherham v Birmingham, Rotherham v Coventry, Rams v Sheff W.
Rotherham from this Saturday included, play 5 games in 11 days, 3 of them matches are against Hudderfield, Coventry and Birmingham. Somebody or both teams could be dropping points there. There is so many things against the current bottom 3, Wycombe Have a terrible goal diff of -32 and have tasted defeat 23 times, with 6 games left I predict they will finish bottom on approx 42 points. Sheff Wed have done really well tonight thumping Cardiff 5-0 but including that match have only picked up 7pts in their last 7 games. I can't see any change in their form and predict them to finish 23rd on approx 43 points.  Rotherham have a massive 10 matches to cram in 28 days, its a big ask to win more than 2 of their 4 games in hand over Derby. I predict they will finish on 46 points maximum having only won 2 and lost 8 of their last 10 matches.
So not having to rely on the down fall of teams below us, because its still in our hands. 50 points is the magic figure and with injuries currently in our squad I think we can only reach around that magic number.

With our final 6 games as they are, including home games against Birmingham and Sheff Weds, if we cant get the results from those games we will deserve to go down.
It’s in our hands. It’s all about us. Play like the past 2 games we will be fine. Play like the 7 games before the international break then it will be touch and go.
