First half was decent with a couple of warnings for us from Fleetwood. At times we look good but our midfield is pretty static but when played at pace with a high tempo we open them up.

Happy Ram so far.

Might be something to do with the ball being on the ground and not just bypassing the midfield and hoofing it down the channels to two solitary knackered wing backs who aren’t wing backs.

Rooney looks class, so comfortable on the ball and moving forwards.

Not too sure if that was a shot or a pass from Washington. If it was a shot then it was awful, if it was a pass then that’s incredible vision and innovation… let’s go with a pass!

How on earth can you have all that time and preparation over a full pre season and churn this absolute tripe up? 
Im honestly lost for words, this is absolute dross

I wouldn’t say that they aren’t very good, they’ve just been asked to do jobs they shouldn’t be and the tactics they’ve been asked to execute are utter sh!te

There’s nothing inherently wrong with 5 at the back. Plenty of the best teams in the world use it. Our specific set up is the issue. I get there’s goals to be had from out wide but it’s all we’re doing. These no clear pattern of play in the middle of the park. No pattern of transition from defence to midfield and midfield to attack. Which is why we keep giving the ball away. 

Irony being that we believed the defence was sorted and possibly the best in the division. Expecting lots of 1-0s.
Yet, on the evidence thus far it’s a bloody shambles and joke.

I know people get annoyed at people having a good old moan, but this really is so, so poor. Third home game in a row we've just looked lost and the inferior team and we've not even got the excuse of it being a recently relegated team this time. The tactics appear to be score from a set piece or hope Hourihane's constant hoofs down the wing will result in a mistake from the opponent.

Great defensive work by Smith. Covered 60 yards to make that tackle.
 

There will always be other mitigating factors at play, work, childcare, transport, caring commitments, bed times with work/school the next day (aside from during holidays), geography, perhaps simply down to the costs involved etc.
From what I’ve gathered on here there are a number who attend home games on a Saturday with a fair commute involved so perhaps can only do so on a weekend.
People go when they can, if there’s something preventing them attending midweek that’s their business. We mostly get good crowds midweek for the league we’re in and excellent crowds on a weekend, none of which is to be sniffed at for me.
