Yes indeed. Amazingly there are still people here who think the way forward is for owners to throw money at it. Incredible.
yes and the reason football at grass roots is dying, is because of money and mainly foreign investors and sky/bt.

I’m not fussed if this is one we’re after or not but all I’d say on the criticisms of him from Barnsley fans is just look at some of the comments about Bird when it came out he was leaving for Brizzle.
Fans will usually play down and focus on the negatives of any player leaving…
exactly what i said the other day.

Returning to the subject of Herbie Kane that this thread is about. The consensus from Barnsley fans seems to be
No pace
Too slow to react to make a tackle
Spends most of his time passing sideways
He should fit in fine 😁
dont fans of a club that one of their players is leaving always run the player down its called blind faith that their club is the best.

My first game
That would have been 67 -68 season. The season clough took over and the game before the semis when Leeds beat us over 2 legs. We were not very competitive that year finished low in div 2.

Did he not go in goal in a texaco cup game ? and I get my pension I go back to 68

i saw Franny's famous punch up from reasonably close as a teenager. and he had every right to punch Norman hunter in my view. along with Bremner Giles and Madeley they had a few hard nuts. but Franny did dive i.e. real Madrid. but i would never call us dirty hard but its a game.

good job you don't run the club alarm.
-
i don't get all the worry its plain we need 1 point so the ball is in our court. peterboro need to win both and turn over a large goal difference .peterboro wont find Cheltenham easy because of relegation problems. lets not worry about them lets just win and get where we should be.

Honest question. Is Bradley crap or is he actually world class? I have no idea.
ask rammieib he will have some sort of useless comment.

sometime you wonder why you follow this board with so many petty stupid arguments . its not about disliking the manager he is the clubs owners choice get over it. and we all support the same club well i think we do.
one word from a old rams fan is pathetic. and cloughie would have given you moaners short shrift.

It seems to me that the vast majority’s views are being influenced by a couple of posters views and dislike of our management and players. And it also appears that if we won 5 nil every week they would not be satisfied. perhaps a reality check and look in mirror would bring the much needed evidence that we are in division 3 and lucky to still be going.but it’s a free world and opinions are a personal choice. I’m sure there are rams supporters looking on laughing at all this. just remember it’s only a game not everyone can win and there’s far more to life than just football.
-
As far asi can see we could win every league game between now and end of season 10 nil and certain posters would still moan. no names given. I’m sure David clowes feels same it’s your opinions it’s a free country. but when someone gives an alternative take on it try to listen to the facts. open minds are needed

So everyone who disagrees with you is stupid. Lovely
where did i write that sage everyone has their own opinion . i just disagree with yours.

everybody wants success but not everyone gets what they want . i think if some of the so called supporters who keep starting posts calling for the manager to be sacked came out from behind keyboards and actually thought things through they would have a second to realise how stupid they make themselves look. especially after 11 games and the injuries and other factors. stop and remember where we were two years ago or have you forgotten as it sounds.

it will stop when clubs stop spending 1.9 billion on transfers in premier league and a transfer cap is introduced or when one of the broadcasters go tits up . look at rugby union football is next.

Warne's now managed us for 50 games.
Warne had a budget for transfer fees, but has taken the active decision to spend it on wages instead.
Thanks for reminding me we're in League 1 and that we shouldn't be outplayed by relegation candidates, with a minimum expectation this season of promotion.
Who? Well Gary Bowyer would be my top choice at the moment, but there are quite a few available managers willing to manage us in L1. Wilder was tempted by Reading, Moore would come if offered the role. I've always liked Carsley, but feel he'll have eyes on the England men's team when that becomes available. Simon Rusk is another in the England setup after spending 6 years managing Brighton U23s/21s. Leam Richardson got promoted with Wigan in 21/22 and was harshly sacked last season. Richie Wellens and Paul Simpson wouldn't cost much in compensation.
your opinion is like mine your own but if he did go i expect you to be one of first on new managers back derby supporters are very fickle and would any of the names you bandied around come here with no money to spend and i respect him for not wasting it.
-
i think the 25 who voted for him to go immediately were not the ones out on streets raising money to save the club just a short while ago we all have differences of opinions and views but come on for gods sake get a grip. were 4 league games in and his transfer funds are probably zero just to keep us in business. if he went who or where would we get anyone else . and anyway some posters would crucify them after first loss i could names them they are trolls really . some people still need to remember what league we are in ?

I wonder the opposite.
What percentage of his online defence force actually go to any games.
(I was going to say 'his defenders', but on the evidence of our performances so far this season, his defenders have been almost completely absent)
It's much easier to dismiss people complaining about the Blackpool game with comments about it being 'a knee jerk reaction to be knocked out of a cup competition we were never going to win anyway' when you haven't just paid to sit there and watched the first half capitulation and 2nd half training exercise for Blackpool, for example.
i paid and came a long ways to see us lose mate.

Perhaps having lost a child and knowing what that feels like makes me a bit more aware of what it must be like having to go in to work and hear it rammed down your throat by mindless morons. Sorry about being holier than though…
well said and there's many mindless morons who pretend to be rams supporters.

I'd say so, what are other peoples thoughts?
Positive thoughts welcome.
i think as a regular poster and a so called rams supporter you should read your posts take a stiff drink and get real a complete waste of a post get behind club not bicker. we lost 2-1 in league and in a cup game in a competition we were never going to win. if we win today will you be on saying sorry got it wrong or just turn on someone/thing else.

what a waste of a thread when we get moving people will be embarrassed.
