Not going to lie, I thought it would take more than 1 game to prove this prediction wrong.

Wow. Better quality football seen in a game between two highly ranked international teams than in a game between two league one teams. A truly startling revelation.

Probably going to be about 10 players leaving, it's gonna be a different squad
Look at the difference Adams and Nyambe have made being younger and more athletic players. I think a few more signings like that would suit Paul's style more but I think securing a mid table finish next season would be perfectly acceptable
But we shouldn't worry or look too far ahead as it robs you off enjoying the moment just need to moan less and get behind the lads is all I'm saying and I have seen comments like they aren't enjoying it like we are 2nd to be honest I'm enjoying being up the top end of a table regardless of some bad performances
Paul Warne wins 3-0 and the match thread is about 20-30 pages less than if he loses, that's telling to me that people love to f****** moan 😂😝

I think it's fair to say that's what most of us want but I would also suspect that, for the majority of supporters, the need for success when following our Club isn't the be all and end all.

Actually this is a really good point , and may be the reason that the "two sides", as there seem to be, are so polarised? There are those who actually do see success as the be all and end all, and therefore are perhaps more likely to be critical if they don't think we are going to achieve that, and those, myself included, who just enjoy following the club, enjoy everything that match day entails, irrespective of style of football, the league we are playing in etc. Obviously it would be great to be playing scintillating football, 20 points clear at the top, but it's not the only, or most important, thing for some.

Oh god. The inevitable sanctimonious pile-on. And here's me thinking this forum couldn't get any more tedious.

It wasn't only Warne who thought he'd be a great signing

Haven’t we been playing 343 with Barkhuizen?
Just think CBT would’ve slotted in nicely to replace him. Instead he’s being held back.
Good if we’re still level come 70 minutes but a bit safe for my liking.

Bruges was lovely - we stayed in one of those big canal barges which had been converted into a rather swank hotel.
Not sure if it's been mentioned but Salzburg is great - interesting with its' castle, gardens, good restaurants and wonderful mountain scenery close by. We would also re-visit Verona (& Lake Garda), Sienna, Cologne, Budapest, Rome and Florence but give a miss to Pisa & Venice.
Plenty to choose from - we're looking forward to a few days in Northumberland in June.

What examples do you have where Warne has made changes 'for changes sake'? When interviewed post-match I feel he's nearly always given reasons for his starting eleven and /or substitutions. You may not agree with his thinking but that's hardly what you're seemingly suggesting has been the case in the past.

That response was regarding GOC team selections for both halves, not what Warne has done in the past

Do I detect a hint of negativity towards Paul Warne here? Not like you, or is it?
